These hard workers try their best to keep their city cleaned. I thank you. Montreal is the only city in Canada that works 24 sevens hours a day. Happy new year to you all🎉❤

1: Snow Dump which is piled super high
2: into a pit. from what I heard, pits of old quarries.
3: into a grate which melts the snow, goes into a treatment plant then gets released

If you've ever watched any snow removal operations, it's very obvious these folks know exactly what they were doing. In many cities, the snow removal leaves a very treacherous ridge of snow between the sidewalk, the curb, and the road. It's the one major cause of pedestrians slipping, sliding, and breaking arms and legs.
Those sidewalk plows did a superb job scooting up-and-down the sidewalk moving the snow out onto the street.
The use of those large tractor-trailers with the addition of boards on the left side of the truck so that they could hold more snow, combined with those rubber-tire loaders with the snow-blower rigs (instead of the large bucket) is the ideal combination of equipment to move large quantities of snow (although this amount was small).
IMHO, the finale ... the sidewalk plow with the salt and sand wagon, and the salt and sand truck ... that was the icing on the cake! When the forecast is freezing rain and the temps are hovering around 0°C (32°F), you want to get the salt and sand down before the ice pellets hit the road. Otherwise, there's gonna be a lot of fender crunching.
Been there. Done that. (Christmas Eve.) You don't want to have that happen to you.
Nicely done Montreal Truck Spotting! Give us some more like this one.
