Its possible for men and women to be friends. Possible. But that doesn't mean that lowkey they aren't attracted to each other and/or have feelings for one another.
With all of that said, a woman with "friends"...nah, son. She got dudes waiting for a brotha to get the boot so they can slide on in. Alot of women prefer men as friends over women, so its possible for a man to have female "friends," who aren't interested in him. Now if he's a good dude and she know it, his woman shouldn't trust her.

I would make some male distinctions: 1) A Gentleman and 2) A Man -Dog who is looking for sex with any available female legally. So this requires two answers. Yes for the gentleman who is only platonic. Hell NO for the Man-dog who will smash if there is a window even after 12 years of knowing her. But typically this question must imply the sexual history between the two friends. Too many Man-Dogs out there that will smash ANYTHING as long as she is legal. Oh she has 12 legs? No problem! We all KNOW THIS! Then you have sneaky Dogs. For example there are TOO MANY Man-Dogs who have ALREADY smashed the female friend & they will act as if they are just platonic. This is deception. If they have already smashed at any time in life the two are MORE than just friends. You are not just friends after the smash for as long as you shall live :) Dudes do this a lot by the way. For instance, Jeff will smash Becky and not say anything but then Jeff will try to hook his friend Bill with Becky. Then Jeff has the nerve to say "You two would make a great couple" (not telling Bill he already smashed her already). For guys that is a common pattern to look out for.

Nope I don't think so. There's a difference between a man being genuine friends with a woman and a man who is just tolerating being in a woman's friend zone until he can finally shoot his shot. Most men unfortunately are in the latter situation but pretending she's his "friend" to save face. I myself rarely pursue women for anything non-romantic. Either we're dating or me and her will simply go our separate ways.
