This song is the story of two lovers. Both love the other very much, but their love brings the other pain. They can never be together, always drifting past each other, in parallel. Going round and round in a circle without ever coming closer. They cant bear to bring the other so much pain, thinking that, if they were gone, the other could lead a happy life, without them.
Two people, very much cut from the same cloth, but who just never communicate with eachother.
Hence, a duet, where the singers keep falling out of sync.
Two lovers .....with the same singular brain cell come up with variations of the same bad idea 😂😂😂

> As you know from some comment that I read here, yeah... this song used for a 5 phase boss fight and 1 stage of another boss fight
> The 1st time used at boss fight without many phases and the song is started from begining with only Male voice
> Then the 2nd time this song is used at last boss fight with 5 different phases, the song started at "Oh Round and Round We Go" rather than from very begining
> At 5 Phases fight, for the first 4 phases the song only sing by 1 voice only (Phase 1&3 : Male, Phase 2&4 : Female) and at the last Phase, the song become a duet song

I'm happy with your reactions. Most other people pays attention to the music itself without paying attention to lyrics, which is fine, but I'm more interested in a theory crafting by people who doesn't have all context. Mili also said they want their songs to work both with context and without

Her music for Limbus Company heavily resonates with me & the stuff I’ve been going through the past few years & to see someone talk about Mili is really nice to see! Glad I stumbled upon your channel! I recommend Fly, My Wings by Mili as well, that one is another amazing Mili song (not like she already has a ton of bangers lol)

I would write a whole essay about the whole story of that "chapter" (in-game they are called cantos) 's story, but I HEAVILY recommend just playing the game yourself, it is straight up an amazing game, being the sequel to Library of Ruina (another AMAZING game which I also recommend playing) the whole story of each of the 3 games is absolutely amazing, every single character feels unchained, they literally feel like they are another REAL person.

Mili actually almost always puts captions of their songs on youtube, and additionally adds youtube captions for readability too. At the very least the Project Moon ones. Which is why I was kind of offput when seeing the lyrics opened in what I'm assuming is Spotify. Because the captions on the youtube video are 1000000 times better

Iron lotus and children of the city are probably the most popular of library of ruina (another game in the project moon series) id recommend listening to iron lotus next
