To be fair, I think the problem is MOST of the movies coming out first are like ‘okay, you know these characters, time to do something interesting.’ Superman’s first, and while still his first movie, he’s being brought in alongside a JLI-esque League, Krypto and more. Batman’s premiere movie will also be with Damian, his son and technically 4th Robin, though it’s unclear how many there may be in this continuity. So it’s not hard to believe that a Wonder Woman esque story would be based more around the Amazons in general, considering the last continuity had Wonder Woman and WW84
@@CanopiedwithBowers i get that but I as a wonder woman fan, the pitfalls most creators fall into is because the Amazons aren't prioritized enough. We all know a WW movie will come eventually. Deciding to actually establish the Amazons first is better for the WW character as a whole, at least imo

7:07 respectfully, those characters add nothing to Hulk. There’s so much explored in the Peter David run, as well as others that goes just beyond “smashing”. Hulk isn’t just a brute, it’s a story about trauma and overcoming it. There’s a reason there are so many Hulk fans beyond him being a Titan.
I think a reason they are hesitant to bring in patterson is the robins situation. Having damian ages batman and gives years for batman to have other robins so we can get a nightwing movie and a red hood movie.
I think it is important to take into consideration that DC is basically promise that they are giving director/creator freedom to do their project in DC once approved. The Batman is one of the first Elseworld, and for sure the "Hey, wanna join DCU or do a cameo in the future" conversation will come out, but this really just depends on Reeves' dicision
I think Gunn’s Superman is very likely to hit 1 billion as long as the film lives up to the hype. The comics Gunn has mentioned that have inspired the film are All Star Superman and Superman: For All Seasons and those are my favourite Superman comics so I have faith. I just want a Superman who is hopeful in a world which leads with pessimism. Being an optimist in a world of pessimists is enough to make you feel like an alien today anyway. Add to that the relationship with Lois and Jimmy, the moment with the girl on the rooftop which they could recreate in this film and I think there is something really special here. I loved the trailer, I felt the kiss they did was more powerful then the hug they used as the last shot so I would’ve swapped those around but other then that I think it’s perfect. The MCU is in a messy state. So many projects with so much history that it would be difficult to follow for a new viewer. But they still have massive projects like Spider-Man 4, Avengers Doomsday and Secret Wars. My hope for the DCU is they don’t go as far as Snyder went in terms of making these characters feel like gods. The best take I heard on the difference between DC and Marvel is that Marvel is relatable and DC is inspirational. Whilst I think both sides show those two things I think at the core I agree with that statement because of course Spider-Man is inspirational and Clark Kent, a man trying to do good but feels like an outsider trying to fit in is a relatable story.
The biggest thing going against Superman is that Marvel is trying to fade if with their fantastic four movie. Their release dates are so close that it’s making me fear both will suffer
Superman won’t make $1 billion because Jurassic World: Rebirth comes out 9 days earlier and then Fantastic Four 2 weeks later. Every Jurassic World movie has made $1 billion and the franchise does very well worldwide.
17:03 Maybe to make The Batman part of the DCU they can have Superman cameo at the end of the clay face movie to try and take care of him and Battinson can pop up and tell him ‘Gotham is his issue, don’t worry about it.’ That could quickly explain why The Batman movies are so different from the rest of the DCU
Pattinson will be 41 by the time Batman 2 comes out. And Batman and Superman should be peers. Nightwing should not be in a closer age range to Superman than Batman is.
@Tea_Time_480 Bruce is not gonna be 41 in Batman 2. It's not about the actor. It's about the character fitting into the universe and what we've already been told is happening.
@ and yet, his Batman is supposed to be 28 in the first one and Batman 2 is supposed to take place not long after 1. And brave and the bold isn’t technically even green lit according to Gunn. They don’t even have a writer. It could be scrapped and there’s still plenty of room for Pattinson to have a bat family. And by the time they make a third one, his in universe age will catch up to his actual age.
@Tea_Time_480 so you want Batman to have had 2 Robins and a kid in like 6 years? That's not even enough time to have a 12 year old Damien. It doesn't fit and your trying to cope with having an Elseworld instead of your shitty idea.
@ I’m sorry if wanting Batman and Superman to be actual peers in film like they’re supposed to be and not wanting a substantially older one for longevity’s sake is such a terrible idea to you. And time jump plus retconning things happening off screen could account for all that. The age range you want Batman to be would mean he wouldn’t be sticking around in the DCU for very long. Sorry if I don’t want a Batman that’s dark knight returns age as the main one.
"DJ thanks for being here" Me: "what? I thought this was like an hour long" *checks timecode* "WHAT??" I could listen to y'all talk about whatever for forever lmao
I don't think Pattinson's Bat will work in the DCU because half the appeal is that he's an entirely homebrewed batman who's only in year 2. You're gonna have to do a lot of legwork to make it believable that he's now had at least two sidekicks, a murderous 10 year old son, and is now capable of fighting parademons.
Thats been my arguement, we know nighwing and red hood are getting their own thing and he's got damien and Gunn likes tim so there's no way he hasn't had each robin
@BlueCheeseLucci it's literally a robin a year except for one year where one was dead, and he'd have to have met had a falling out met again leaving Talia pregnant between a year and 5 years before the batman for damiens age to make sense being between 6 and 10
I 1000% agree that The Batman should be folded into the main movie universe. 1.) Brand confusion. You already have 2 recent different film takes on the Batman world going on between The Batman and Joker films. Why throw in a 3rd different Batman to confuse the average movie goer. 2.) I dont get "The Batman is too realistic" arugment. Because I saw the Pattinson world as a combination of Burton/Schumacher movies mixed in with the world of the Nolan Dark Knight trilogy. It's gritty and real, but with a slight fictional edge to it. 3.) The Batman kinda ends with a more positive "superhero" Batman. He's starts all grimdark. But in the end, the sun is coming up, and he's still out there rescuing kids and attending to the injured. That's a Batman who I can see fit into this universe really well if handled right.
so hoping superman can bring back that golden age of super hero content like in 2019. I joined youtube in 2020 so I never got to be apart of that real golden age of comicbook content
Love this video. It would be cool to get you and DJ doing an ongoing series on the DCU as it develops. Would be cool to see your pitches for how to integrate The Batman into this universe. Additionally it woild be cool to see you pitch possible future DCU phases post Gods & Monsters.
I really think Gunn wants The Batman in the DCU for one major reason - the cast. There's no way they want to cast a new Penguin or Catwoman or Riddler after that. That cast is so freaking good that anyone running concurrent to them will feel lesser. As for Superman, I think my excitement comes mostly from the fact that this is the first time EVER that a Superman movie is taking its main inspiration from actual Superman comics. The Christopher Reeve movies, while fun, really paid no mind to the books of the time. Bryan Singer ignored literally everything but the first two Reeve movies despite Superman being a vastly different character in the comics by that point, and Zack Snyder took a lot of ideas from Byrne's run but warped them into joyless dreck. This upcoming film actually feels like a celebration of great Superman comics.
Oh wow what a blast to the past for me, I used to watch DJ on Sourcefed Nerd? I think it was called? YEARS ago like I was probably 12 and now I graduate college in 4 months 🤯 great to see him again!!!
43:36 I think the reason Supergirl is getting a shot is becuase James Gunn loves the original run of that comic. He tweeted and posted on instagram praising the series a little while before he took over DC.
33:54. Is Sal talking about Jensen Ackles? I know he was up for Captain America, but he couldn’t because of conflicting shoot dates for Supernatural, or is he talking about the guy who played Bullseye in the Netflix Daredevil series? Cause I saw a clip with the Netflix actor from a comic con a few days ago where he talked about how he was up for Cap
Regarding the batman talk, i think Gunn wanted to invlude Pattinson in it, but when Reeves told him he wanted to do his own thing, Gunn was left in a position where he had to make the DCU batman different. Hence, Damian, who im not a fan of, but if you already have a year 2 batman going on in an elseworlds project, to make sure yours stands out, you need an older batman. Realistically, his only other options would be to either CW it with Batwoman, or adapt the future state next batman arc. And before someone brings up batman beyond, yes i want a batman beyond arc, but not as the main DCU batman. The only real issue with going with Damian is Jon should be there too, which feels a little rushed for a new DC universe, which is why I would prefer Cassandra Cain. Still optimistic, but curious how it will all play out. Spider-man works because the MCU focuses on Peter while Sony has Miles for the Spiderverse stuff
Excited for Superman, I like DJ's idea for bringing Pattinson in with the time jump I just don't know how well they could make him look bigger and older if they did a 20 yr time jump
There is a really good nugget in here about DC/Warner kinda rushing into things. Like, I really didn’t like what Sony was doing, but to their credit they weren’t throwing 12 projects against a wall and calling it a timeline. Phase 1 Marvel was like 6 movies, and two of them were Iron Man. Not to mention Agents of Shield post-Avengers, but that was only one show. I think studios doing cinematic universes need to be comfortable with taking slow steps.
3:47 that's what i did! And it was glorious! (Except for the fact i got a weirdly censored hulk version where the fight at the end was almost completely cut ...)
I'm really hoping Superman does well. We got the comics back on track. There's a very good cartoon out. Superman & Lois just wrapped a great series. All that's left is the film.
Seeing mark ruffalo fight against Leader would be cool, that is absolutely not in dispute. I think the only problem is that from Marvel’s perspective, if they approached that epic battle that all Hulk fans have probably wanted to see for the last 50 years, they’re really not going to get that now because we’re still in the current “Smart Hulk” incarnation when it comes to his character and it hardly feels like there are any real stakes or pathos in this kind of Hulk vs Leader fight because Bruce Banner is smarter than Samuel Sterns. If this were reversed and it was Savage Hulk vs the Leader than now we have a movie. EDIT: Also hear me out: when it comes to Clayface, is it just me or is there the potential for his character to be inducted into the membership of the Flash’s Rogues? Because I feel like he’s fit in just fine.
I'm going to say yes. No movie that became the top 5 highest viewed trailer of all time failed to hit a Billion in the Box Office. So I think Superman is going to be successful this year. Now we have 3 MCU movies coming out this year. Captain America 4 people are cautioned about because of the number of reshoots. Thunderbolts seems to be okay, but no one is overwhelming excited about it. The only MCU Film that might make it big this year is Fantastic Four, and depending on the reception of that first trailer, we can gauge if people are more excited about it than Superman.
@@GutsTheCaptain Are you talking about Superman? Gunn said that there are no reshoots for Superman. Now if you're talking about Captain America 4, yes there have been a lot of reshoots for that movie.
Im just a litle worried treating the movies like comics, different tones, different universes, etc wont work for the general movie going audiences. I absolutely want it to! It will be awesome if it does but man thats asking alot for the general public. I hope it works.
It may not hit a Billion Dollars or be Better than the best movies in the world but, I think it will be a movie talked about for a long time and will make history! I hope ;)
Idk if yall don't realize Gunn is allowing all the speculation to go own because its.........simply free press. More dc talk the better for him. I dont care if I get 2 batman's at the same time. I red comics. I'm used to it. We should be cheering on him staying elseworlds. Everybody wants Gunn to abandon the Elseworlds but that is just such a bad idea. We need more of everyone else. Batman can wait. Spoiled lol
If The Batman took place further in the past it would be easier to integrate it with the DCU but if they want to do Teen Titans, et al, anytime soon it's gonna be trickier to use Battinson
I want a Tim Drake GCPD story i see him as the eventual heir to Gordon! As for the movies just give a superman that smiles and has the time to help someone with what seems as the tiniest problem and I'm sold.
Are the walls slowly crumbling between the DCU and what Matt Reeves has been doing with The Batman? On the one hand, I don't know how you square some of the circles from The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker being pulled in from before with The Batman firmly taking place in 2022 with The Penguin, but on the other, if it can be part of the universe and still remain its own thing without some other big event screwing things up, I'm down. One of my biggest problems with the MCU is that there really isn't a trilogy of movies that isn't interrupted with an Avengers movie or some other team up crossover. While having an interconnected universe is nice, I'd also like to see the character progress within their own stories and not have something big event come over and progress them beyond a point and now you have to watch 20 other things. While I will watch everything and I'll never truly know how well a trilogy following characters like Thor, Captian America, or even Ant-Man work without Avengers and Civil Wars coming in and taking some of that thunder, it would be nice to be able to do such a thing with Batman and Superman and other DC characters in the DCU. Big world events happen in the crossover pieces, big character story moments happen within their own movies. Maybe this isn't really possible within the given medium of film, but if someone were to want to watch stories featuring a single character and it be a narratively satisfying arc, hopefully it doesn't involve 20 movies to do so.
@@comicpopreturns please call in a favour with tom and get james , i think as opposed to alot of interviews online you guys have the best knowledge about the topic ergo can ask the perfect question rather than the rinse and repeat ones by ign and all those companies

i love Pattinson and Reeves' Batman but i really do not want him to be the DCU's Batman. weve seen this grounded take on Batman with no Robin or Batfamily plenty, and as much as i love Nolan and Reeves' versions, i just want to see a Batman movie that actually feels like the modern comic book version at least once lol
So what if it is Dick Grayson and Damian as Batman and Robin. I swore we were also getting a "Dynamic Duo" animated film in this universe with Nightwing and Red Hood... Maybe that is a secret Battle for the Cowl type film. We also know from Creature Commandos, that Batman was out of Gotham long enough for Dr. Phosphorous to kill Rupert Thorn and take over his empire. Anyways, so yea I am hoping for a Dick Grayson and Damian as Batman and Robin in Brave and Bold. Happy smiling Batman with dark grim Robin. It would give us a decent contrast to "The Batman".... Eventually have Bruce does come back---Guy Gardner saying he is the one in charge now and Batman punches him and knocks him out in one punch...
49:49 please please please please let me get a good Constantine. Just once I want to see my favorite comics character get a proper film adaptation (sorry to yall that like it but Keanu Reeves ain’t my Constantine)
I actually hear more people say the first season of the flash show was just as bad or worse than some of the later stuff. Me personally, Ik the whole thing wucked from the beginning with Arrow but I just enjoyed it for fun schlock.
I think fans are a lot more forgiving of the DCU than Marvel. When Marvel was peak fans were rooting for DCEU cuz it was under dog or Schnyder fans and under each ownership fans kept rooting for it to make a come back while Marvel was woke or too far from original source and waiting for it to fail. Now that Marvel is bad, fans are rooting for DCU even more and leaning more heavy on previous Marvel complaints.
I hope we get a Superman film that’s soundtrack is entirely songs with ‘Superman’ in the title. There’s like 50 and they’re all bangers Some standouts include ‘I’m no Superman’ ‘suburban Superman’ ‘that’s really super supergirl’ etc. they’re all equally good
I think I was unsustainable levels of hyped for the movie and the teaser trailer brought me down to just being simply excited. There’s still 7 months to go so I’m not worried for the movie, but in the teaser a lot of the CGI and effects looked very bad to me. I trust Gunn overall to give us the best Superman movie we’ve had. I think it will for sure make over 1 billion at the box office. In a way, not having a solo Superman movie for 12 years really helped them in terms of hype and marketing. I’ll be there opening night.
Just remember that these are early special effects, and Gunn has been assuring everyone that he’ll give the effects studios the time they need. In contrast, I think that the trailer effects will be the final product for the FF movie.
@@CharZy-y8v Yup. That's why I said I'm not really worried since there's still 7 months left until the movie releases, and he gave over a year for the VFX department.
I can honestly say that while I certainly enjoyed the MCU films whenever I saw one, I was never able to be excited about them. They were sort of... meh.
I feel MCU is sort of on the decline and DCU is gonna come in strong. It kinda makes sense as the DCEU came in during MCU’s heyday and was usually pretty bad. It’s the seesaw effect.
@ Deadpool & Wolverine made a billion but before that, they had a lot of duds: Marvels, Eternals, Love & Thunder, etc. Cap 4 seems to be geared for a flop as well since it has little hype, has had a ton of reshoots, and reportedly has had a lot of bad screenings. MCU’s last big movie was No Way Home which, like Deadpool, relied on nostalgia for pre-MCU movies, which is a bad sign. As for their last animated show, the third season of What If didn’t really impress too many people. I tried to check it out but the plot synopsis were terrible. What was the last live action show? Agatha? That seemed to come and go without a lot of buzz.
@Aaron-zt5ee love and thunder made 768 milliom. Doctor strange 2 made 955 million, wakanda forever made 859 million , shang-chi made 432 million, which is good for a niche character. Guardians vol 3 made 845 million. Cap 4 actually has hype and the trailers have been positvely recived. As far as we know its only been 3 weeks of reshoots in may which is less than what doctor strange 2. Cap 4 was ranked high in fandangos anticipated movies for this year. Test screenings arent always reliable. I mean the flash had amazing test screenings but look how that movie turned. There also rumors that superman didnt have great test screenings. Im 2024 joker 2 failed and in 2023 all the dc films failed at the box office. Not every mcu movie needs to make over a billion , thats not how it was pre-endgame. Aniamtion im talking about x-men 97 which was universally praised. Agatha all along was well received by fans and critics and kathryn got a golden globe nomination. You know what recently left with not as much buzz, creature commandos.
Well Jason Momoa in Supergirl is a marketing point but that will gain more Female audiences for the movie right if Supergirl is a tough sell? You'll be cheering for Supergirl and thirsting for lobo ?! I thnk there was an articlewhen the first aquaman movie did numbers cause Female audience went to see Aquaman because it had Momoa in the role. Also It has the director of I, Tonya so I thnk he can balance out what needs to be in the story.
This whole talk about teaser versus Trailer is a little silly. Who put this arbitrary number behind how long teaser is supposed to be versus a trailer? A teaser supposed to tease you about a movie that’s coming out. It did its job. But however, long it was? OK I guess? Does it really matter?
Selfishly I want the Reeves Batman to be disconnected from the DCU if only so we can get a brighter, silver-age Batman representation on screen for once in my lifetime.
Pattinson being the DCU Batman doesn’t mean we can’t get that. Pattinson doesn’t need to be limited by Reeves’ approach. Different creatives can work with him.
@ yes… but I also want Pattinsons Batman to be a proof of concept that the Elseworlds concept can and will work. If they can pull off having two different and distinct Batmen on screen at the same time then it opens up room for a wider variety of interpretations for these characters. Like if some visionary director like Steven Soderbergh had a solid pitch for an elseworlds Superman movie down the line, there would be room for that.
@cam4748 don’t think we should waste having an already great Batman as a proof of concept. Also elseworlds Batman stories are usually radically different than what the character normally is. The only reason why Gunn labeled Pattinson as elseworlds was because reeves wasn’t playing ball. It’s not like Pattinson is vampire Batman or dark knight returns Batman. He’s just Batman.
Iron man was a d-list superhero before We got the movie so saying someone can't do something great in the movie because they're not as iconic of a character doesn't really hold much weight.
That’s like saying year one is too realistic even though that book was a major inspiration for the Batman and in continuity. It’s also like saying a third of Batman’s history is too grounded to co exist with the rest.
This has been one of the funnest times I've ever heard/seen people talk about DC and getting me more excited for the endless potentialities for the DCU. I'm putting it out, I want to see Animal Man, The Question, Hitman and Justice League Dark in the not-too distant future! Do more of this muchachos! and Thanks!!
I will never give Gunn a freaking penny as his vile deplorable comments on children turned me off the man for life, no fully grown man should ever speak about children in such a way. The biggest thing going against Superman is that Marvel is trying to fade if with their fantastic four movie. Their release dates are so close that it’s making me fear both will suffer
@@SavedAndConfused theres slso jurassic world rebirth coming a week before superman.

Who put crushed peppers on sal pizza he was talking extra Spicy and greasy this episodes.
LOL More spicy SAL.
Eveything you said was facts tho
Battinson should stay in his own universe and the DCU should have a seperate Batman who's old enough to have Damien

Here’s the cycle of how I think about James Gunn’s Superman:
1. Joy
2. Fear
3. Joy Again
4. Fear again
5. Hope
And then it repeats.
You just make the batman 1 a prequel and the new movies take place in modern day
@jamesseavy2414 Like I said, that would be a lot of legwork.
@@jamesseavy2414the first movie was set in 2022 so his just getting a whole bat family in 3 to 5 years
@BlueCheeseLucci it's literally a robin a year except for one year where one was dead, and he'd have to have met had a falling out met again leaving Talia pregnant between a year and 5 years before the batman for damiens age to make sense being between 6 and 10
Well this is a surprise! the latest and greatest (and my personal favorite) comic book duo!
Love this team up!!! Superman is gonna be great!!!
43:36 I think the reason Supergirl is getting a shot is becuase James Gunn loves the original run of that comic. He tweeted and posted on instagram praising the series a little while before he took over DC.
I gotta disagree hal isnt boring. He is the face of the gl franchise and his conflict with sinestro is great.
Let the content flow like a stream of consciousnesses...when you both know your stuff, you are mining gold.
That surfing hellbeast in Justice League just said Lobo to me.
It's the bullseye guy!
@ I thought so!! I honestly couldn’t see him as Cap, he was too good as Bullseye
I never clicked on a video so fast lol so hype to hear what you guys have to say . Much love guys and happy new year 😊
Regarding the batman talk, i think Gunn wanted to invlude Pattinson in it, but when Reeves told him he wanted to do his own thing, Gunn was left in a position where he had to make the DCU batman different.
EDIT:
Also hear me out: when it comes to Clayface, is it just me or is there the potential for his character to be inducted into the membership of the Flash’s Rogues? Because I feel like he’s fit in just fine.
Why do u think smart hulk is smarter than the leader.
You might wanna check those numbers again pal...
Remember how hyped we were for man of steel...
@@GutsTheCaptain Are you talking about Superman? Gunn said that there are no reshoots for Superman. Now if you're talking about Captain America 4, yes there have been a lot of reshoots for that movie.

Peter David’s run on Hulk alone gives a whole bunch of content for Hulk movies. It’s sooo easy( air quotes)…which is why it would never happen 🥲
It just needs focus on being good first before trying to top Mcu
Honestly the batfamily has enough content to be a cinematic universe all on their own but it's never happening.
I hope ;)
Thank goodness in a few short days we will have someone to step in and save the day!
I just remembered Nathan Fillion was also in the suicide squad. Im sure it wont be brought up but I do wonder James would say about that.
It’s pretty sad they messed up hulks character so much in the mcu
I am fascinated by that Tick display behind Sal. Is that the board game??
It is!
@ that makes me so happy!!! I love that! Haven't seen the board game in ages and it brought back a lot of happy memories
clicked on it ten seconds after it was uploaded...
Wilson Bethel the guy who plays bullseye recently said he almost got captain america
Feel like this conversation could be updated after the last episode of creature commandos
"That last episode wasn't great." There you go!
I think Frankenstien will become more of a weapon next season. There wasn't a reason.
If they do use Damien I would love a super sons movie down the road when Superman gets older and is married to Lois if they go that route.
Creature comandos intro was not done by gunn the animators cane up with it and even gunn said it was too much

Wally West
John Stewart

My problem is so we just going to give Pattinson batman a son and a bat family
Or you could scrap brave and the bold and kick that can down the road. Pattinson will be 41 by the time Batman 2 comes out. There’s plenty of time and room for him to have a bat family.
Pre watch comment. It’s nice to finally have a hopeful Superman again. Love Henry, but Snyder just misunderstood the assignment
i love Pattinson and Reeves' Batman but i really do not want him to be the DCU's Batman. weve seen this grounded take on Batman with no Robin or Batfamily plenty, and as much as i love Nolan and Reeves' versions, i just want to see a Batman movie that actually feels like the modern comic book version at least once lol

The standards have gone down for Dc over the last 12 years. it is gone from wanting a movie to rival the MCU to just wanting a decent movie
Marvel isnt bad because they had projects that didnt work.
I hope we get a Superman film that’s soundtrack is entirely songs with ‘Superman’ in the title. There’s like 50 and they’re all bangers
Some standouts include ‘I’m no Superman’ ‘suburban Superman’ ‘that’s really super supergirl’ etc. they’re all equally good
I think I was unsustainable levels of hyped for the movie and the teaser trailer brought me down to just being simply excited.
Unfortunately this show has been clipped out of context and i hope they dont get cyber bullied.
I can honestly say that while I certainly enjoyed the MCU films whenever I saw one, I was never able to be excited about them. They were sort of... meh.
25:28 that would be fun if that happened.
Definitely yes!
I think so as Im looking forward to Gunn's DC and really have no interest in current mcu but that's just me
I feel MCU is sort of on the decline and DCU is gonna come in strong. It kinda makes sense as the DCEU came in during MCU’s heyday and was usually pretty bad. It’s the seesaw effect.
Marvel last movie made over a billion , they had an animated shoe and a live action show that was well received so no thry arent on the decline.
Ooh awesome 😎
DJ 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
Let Dc get out of the pit before we start comparing them to the mcu. That’s exactly what ruined the last universe they had.
😂
I really don't want The Batman to be the batman of the DCU. It's too "realistic" i just can't see characters like Clayface in that universe.
I think that this new Superman movie is essentially vs the Elite, but subbing in a Guy Gardner lead JLA for the Elite
I will never give Gunn a freaking penny as his vile deplorable comments on children turned me off the man for life, no fully grown man should ever speak about children in such a way. For that reason only Gunn gets not a penny from me. I will support and watch projects from Reeves but nothing from Gunn. #NotApenny
