Also founding fathers - lets form and join parties. They were right about political parties but failed to design a system to prevent them. The reality is they are a necessary evil and they should have designed a system that recognized their place and try to curb their worst excesses eg. a multiparty system.
If they couldn't do it in the early days it is going to take some black swan events to get it now.

The thing is, Fox Business is different from Fox News, and Fox Opinion Hosts. They do a great job blurring the lines, because you need to validate the BS from their opinion hosts by reporting some true things. Otherwise, it's just all BS and no one trusts them. The problem is, most can't differentiate the 2, so when fox opinion hosts state a blame lie, they don't know it. Like this whole thing over AOC today. She never said these mass break ins aren't happening, just question if they are really by organized gangs like they are be reported. But Fox is running with this idea she live in an alternative reality where there's break ins didn't happen. It's just so wrong, and one needs to do is read the full quote with context to know FOX is full of it. But this right here is there goal. And it's very effective on 40% of the population.

American Politics is like having two screens, The Democrat screen is on the wall, the Republican's screen is on the floor in another building down the road. Want a Better Economy? History Says Vote Democrat!
Personal disposable income has grown nearly 6 times more under Democratic presidents
Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has grown 7 times more under Democratic presidents
Corporate profits have grown over 16% more per year under Democratic presidents (they actually declined under Republicans by an average of 4.53%/year) Average annual compound return on the stock market has been 18 times greater under Democratic presidents (If you invested $100k for 40 years of Republican administrations you had $126k at the end, if if you invested $100k for 40 years of Democrat administrations you had $3.9M at the end)
Republican presidents added 2.5 times more to the national debt than Democratic presidents
The two times the economy steered into the ditch (Great Depression and Great Recession) were during Republican, laissez faire administrations
Why Are Republican Presidents So Bad for the Economy? G.D.P., jobs and other indicators have all risen faster under Democrats for nearly the past century.
U.S. Jobs, Income, GDP Growth 'Startlingly' Higher Under Democratic Presidents.
Over the last 6 decades--60 years or so, history has tended to favor Democratic presidents in terms of economic performance.
During the final 3 years of Barack Obama's presidency 2014. 2015 . 2016 , the number of jobs added was 1.5 million greater than the number added during Trump's first 3 years in office 2017 2018 2019.
Trump inherited a booming economy - and handed Biden a nation 'in shambles'.

I joined The Forward Party today. Not recruiting, I’m a life long Republican, without a home. I remembered Yang from the primaries, and how engaging he was then as a democrat. He reminded me of what, I thought, the party of JFK must’ve been like. Maybe politics as a whole.

this guy is giving me hope and he is outside of the corrupt duopoly. He could be the uniter we need. He could unite the working class left and right under one banner to chase out the Oligarchs and save this country and make Capitalism work for all Americans.

“I just want you to get past your blinders wherever you are politically and think about thinking outside the box. We need a hell of a lot more of that than….” Was feeling his closing words. Wonder how he finished that sentence.

Excellent interview! Great job Mr. Cavuto and Fox! Nice to see mainstream news challenging the status quo.

It used to be that our two party system and primary process surfaced moderate candidates. With exceptions, today it does not. Maybe this isn't his goal, despite being a centrist, but I'm not convinced that open primaries would allow thoughtful and pragmatic candidates to win.

"Polarization between the parties is at record highs". Andrew, ever heard of the Civil War? We need opposing views and debate to keep what personal liberties we have left, else we'll just be overrun by government. One party = ALL THE POWER.
