Hi. Scott. Thanks for your great and honest review ❤ For a mini electric skateboard. We think now the Tynee mini 3 is the best balance, with sufficient torque, long range, super smooth ESC, waterproof battery, and light weight. It is the best choice for fun and last mile commute. We hope you love it. Thank you ❤
When you get home after a big night and about to crash but see that Scott just uploaded and have to watch it now just on principle. Always love a new vid 🤙🏼
Haha thanks and get some
Sleep 💤 and then watch it again in the morning 😂
look at this beautful sunrise!!! awesome shot fantastic looking board! Tynee is an amazing company! Great battery choice as well!
Im extremely happy with my mini 2. This one looks to have improved on that design. Best mini boards!
Thank you! Tyneee is so underrated. been waiting for a video about them
My best days at work have always started with riding my board to work . Tynee just like to keep it real .
Just received tynee ultra, Aiden blew me away with knowledge and help and got me happily on board, love the polish of the board for the price.
We need a review of the offroad kit for this board. I love the kicktail and after getting a non kicktail board, I am in the market for a kicktail. I do not get why everyone bought boards with no kicktail. I think they just never knew what it was like or something, because everywhere I go, I am sick of stopping and moving the board with my feet. With the kicktail, I never have to stop. The offroad kit for the Tynee looks interesting though.
I managed to ride nearly 400 miles on my mini v 1 through scottish rain before i had an issue with water ingress, now that theyve switched to the single enclosure and claiming to be water proof i can't think of a reason not to finally upgrade.... Now to wait for payday 😂
Yea man, my 1.0 was going perfect until a few weeks ago my mate hit the accelerator at a cross walk and sent it under a bus, needless to say the Bus won
I wanted a smaller second board as well as my Endeavor2 GT. I found it! Thanks for the video Scott!
Sounds like the perfect combo
Great video mate. Fantastic board as usual from Tynee.
Thank you sir
That looks like a great travel companion. Nice sunrise shots. Nice belt covers.
100% mate, perfect solution to get around ESK8 Con 2024 !!
Just ordered the tynee mini 3 pro with the 105mm hydro wheels.Kinda wish we had a review of the Mini 3 pro would make the shipping wait easier lol
Yea man awesomeness
Hope you sued my code to save some $$$
I did. u were the one who sold me on it. I hope it works out well. This would be my way to commute to work its only 3.6 miles from my apartment to my job.
My pro video will be out soon,
But yo put you at ease “it’s friggen awesome”
@Scott Davies OMG its friKn awesome, you were deff correct, i cant believe how powerful it is lol i only had it on the first gear and that was already as fast as i ever would want to go.Its nice to have the option of more speed even though it would be too fast for me.Even with all my stuff on and my pistol inside my waist band it was insanely fast.I weigh 200lbs and this is my first electric skateboard and im hooked already, feels like im flying 🔥🔥🔥 Thank you Scott and Thank you Tynee for this awesome piece of technology.
Amazed at how many checkmarks this board gets, the pro version has pretty much everything i want in a board. Prob my main concern is how small the deck looks. Worried that my feet will hang off the sides and my front foot will be right at the end ( 5'11" , size 10.5 ). I own a stoke gen1.
Tynee stinger 🔥
You should test the waterproof battery claim!
took home a mini 1 after watching your review a long time ago , 600 plus ks later and it's such a good board for the suburbs, I dont like long boards so the big battery on the tynee is mint . might have to upgrade off the back of another video mate.
Be interesting to put a light aluminum pole& handlebar on
Good review. Like the last mile options
They make the best mini boards on the market hands down. Have you or do you plan on trying out the new at kit on the mini?
Waiting on that Tynee Stinger review
Soon, hoping to film this weekend
Love the single enslosure. Never been a fan of double enclosures. Introduces a higher risk for water damage.
I want this board with the AT wheels 😋
Heard somebody talk about a PRO version. What would that entail?
I agree and it's also kinda ugly and just does do it for me visually
Hey, Batman Forever has merit. MERIT I SAY! ...and a pretty dope 90s soundtrack to boot.
⚡👌🏼👌🏼⚡
*The top mini now* but I do wish it was a little lower, I'd rather have a lower board even if that meant no brake light. Huge battery makes it so heavy 👀
Love the enclosed belt covers. 43deg trucks on minis is a must, glad they kept that 👏🏼👏🏼 Nice to see the ability to change Acceleration & Brake via app but it's funny when even the app shows Brake spelt wrong, such a common mistake by all of us 😂
I'd rock this with Mad or Otang 105s! Stunnin weather, awesome ride footage, enjoyed this one!!
Actually the riser pad is a little thick not for brake light. But for no wheels bite with 105mm cloudwheels or hydro wheels. 😂 it looks thick but actually it’s not too much. Because the edge of the deck has a curvature, it looks a bit thick from the outside. But it doesn’t add too much height for the whole board. We have reduced the thickness to the lowest as much as we can. A lot of customers use 105mm wheels. So we think it’s important to avoid the wheels bite❤
@@Tyneeboard Thank you for the response. It's possible a customer can remove thick riser pad, and replace with a thin riser pad?
@@Tyneeboard Do those riser pads effect vibration much ? Have you experimented with different riser materials to reduce vibration ?
I get close to if any vibrations
I know the tested many different ones.
This combo seems to be close to perfect
Nice video.Please,do the range test.
I'm torn between the pro and 3. I'm a commuter in college and need a board that can handle the weather when it rains. Should I opt for the mini 3 for the full belt covers or just get the pro for better performance price isn't a big issue mainly looking for a good mini electric skateboard with good range and waterproof battery
Based on your situation, I’d 100% recommend the pro,
It’s future proofing you for a lot longer
Plus the extra power will get you up any hill and the better 21700 cells has even better range and capacity
Hey Scott, Great content.
How is this Tynee Mini 3 better than the Exway WAVE?
Appreciate your help prior to purchase.
Ordering mine tomorrow gettin hub version!
Awesome enjoy !!!
When was the meepo mini atom 3s released??? Any good ??
Mate it just arrived 30 mins ago,
I tested it straight away
It’s nice but does feel like a more budget oriented board
Is it worth buying ?
And how hard is it to put better wheels on it ? I like the price just wanna know if it worth it
Not too hard to hear about the things I’m going to be missing when my recently purchased mini 2 comes in. Still excited for the 363wh. I will hopefully not be using that puck in manual cuz that means I slipped out lol.
why belt drive over hub?
I really like this format you did, giving a close look of the board with a bite of what's inside was nice, I like seeing the mechanics of the boards 👍
They're good people at Tynee
Agree, The team do a awesome job
Thank you ❤
Hello sir! I was wondering if some time in the future you could do a quick comparison between the stock 363Wh battery and the 99Wh travel battery. I was talking to Aiden and he mentioned that the battery is replaceable and you can buy the 99Wh in the store (however apparently the 99Wh battery isn't yet able for the Mini 3 but is coming out soon) and switch out the batteries yourself. I am looking to get an all-purpose board like this Tynee Mini 3 and would love to see how viable the 99Wh option is for when I travel abroad. Cheers mate!
Hi Scott, what's the app you mentioned called?
Is Acedeck Stella Mini in the queue?
I like the idea to play with the gear ratio instead of adding stronger and stronger motors, a mini doesn't need to go fast.
On the other hand, Stella S1 is 0.5kg lighter and only 8cm longer than Mini. I wonder how do they compare.
Yep it’s in the queue
Can’t wait to test that one,
Reminds me of the Boosted model that planned to release in collaboration with Tony Hawk,
Can i change the battery easily if it becomes worn out?
Considering the high top speed, would this be suitable for a DIY deck swap?
So if there's a cut-out for the battery in the deck, does that mean it's not deck swappable?
great little board
how would you compare the mini 3 to the exway wave? Is there one that is better then the other as a daily commuter?
Nice video! What gloves are those? 😮
Would you say this is better than a Boosted Board Mini X ? idk if I should get this one or a second hand boosted mini x ...
I’m honestly upset I just bought the mini 2 and mini 3 comes out a week after damnnnnn
Love your vids mate! Just gotten into esk8 myself with a hadean; looking to get a more portable board for commuting now. I'm tossing up between the exway wave and the tynee mini. Do you know of any places that may offer a demo ride of the boards in brissy?
We can organise a day for you to pop
Into my shop at Murarrie if that helps
Message me on Instagram to organise
Hey, I own the wave and the mini 2, only electric boards Ive ever owned. (I've skated a traditional board for 20 years). I really enjoy both boards (I have over 100 miles on each) but I much prefer the Tynee Mini, 2 by far. Here is what I've discovered - riding both boards together(with a friend), similar speeds (Tynee going faster though), the mini 2 gets double the range. When the wave gets around 50% battery, which is quickly, it sags losing a few miles per hour and basically useless around the 14% mark (remote stops displaying speed at 20% also). The mini doesn't seem to sag or if it does it isn't noticable. The wave brakes far better than the mini. They accelerate about the same. The wave is lighter and more easily maneuverable but the mini manages fine. I can manual both very well but the wave is easier. The waves lights are great but I rarely use them. Both are easily carried and popped up for grabbing quickly and conveniently. The wave does feel more premium at first but after I put 96mm backfire wheels on the mini 2 it felt just as good if not better (highly recommend those wheels for the mini 2, amazing). I go 33mph on the mini 2 and only 21 (then 19 as the battery sags) on the wave. I get around 7 miles range on the wave when pushing it hard, and about 12 on the mini when going hard (which is much harder than wave because of top speed). But I've gone 16 miles with 2 bars of battery left over on the mini recently. After riding both thoroughly, I'm selling my exway wave without a second thought. The Tynee Mini 2 is soo worth it and 100 dollars cheaper than the wave. So much more value in my opinion. And buying the Mini3 is an instant no brainier for me. Now my friends can ride my 2 and actually hang with me and for the whole ride. My advice, go Tynee and forget the wave exists! If you ride test, you'll likely choose the wave for the feel, but with time you'd realize the Mini was the right move.
Pretty unhappy that my Mini 2 was superceeded in under 3 months from my purchase with no warning. I would of happily paid the extra for these features if given the choice or something was hinted at based on the extras I purchased. A better idea may have been to reach out after I placed my order(this way it confirmed I was a valid customer) and gave me an option to upgrade.
This is just something I heard from another discussion so take everything I say with a grain of salt BUT Tynee's customer service is really good so if I were you I would email them about this because you just might get a free upgrade or something similar. Again don't take my word for it because I don't have first-hand experience however I talked to a couple other people who've been in the exact same scenario (buying the Mini 2 right before the Mini 3 was released) and they were able to upgrade their boards... just some food for thought.
@@raelee411 Where were you able to find the other discussion. I am in a similar boat
@@raelee411thanks for the advice but they more or less gave me a generic email talking about production delays but knowing they were building one when I purchased. Also added that there was not any real difference between the 2 and the 3. :( So much for the customer support. Just another company with a great marketing strategy same as the rest. :(
Nice review mate 🔥🔥 battery Ah?
8.4
That is a huge battery for a mini board.
Mate they worked on this enclosure and esc for close to 8 months to get the 13S2p to fit and still have a good cell
The 10k giveaway... What happened to it Scott???
It’s coming I just had to get the mini 3 video done in line with their launch date
@@scottdaviesyoutube Thank you Scott! Thank you for caring about us :)
why do you recommend the belt option? as far as i see it, without belts its more silent and you can use it even if the battery is empty. Also there should be less resitance so you might be able to get more far? What am I missing?
More torque. More wheel options
If your belts are set up correctly you can easily kick push q belt board,
@@scottdaviesyoutube Hm.. thanks for the reply. More torque means better acceleration? Im still not 100% convinced if belt is really the better option but on the Tynee Website I can see the Mini 3 only with belt option anyways. Is the difference in volume and resistance with belt significant compared to a non belt version?
@@Humanoftheweek tynee mini Pro with belt drive only.
Tynee mini 3 with both options (hub/belt).
I prefer the hub drive over the belt drive because I live in an EU country where e-skateboards are not allowed to be ridden on public roads.
So I choose the hub version because it's so quiet, easy to maintain, got enough torque n high speed and doesn't draw as much attention.
@@Esk8ologist thank you for your opinion. I also live in a european country where its forbidden to ride them on the street therefore I also tend to get the hub version
Where can i buy the skeleton gloves?
Hi mate these where from Amazon for like $11
@@scottdaviesyoutube thnx
Good video
What would you rather, Tynee mini 3 or Exway Wave?
I prefer the range and deck of the Tynee
The only thing I prefer on the Wave is the front light 💡
The biggest concern with enclosed belt drives is if the belts snap they could tangle around the gears and get stuck making the rider potentially superman.
Certainly something to keep an eye out for
cheers Scott
Plus every time you want to check your belt you have to take it apart
It’s very simple

When are you going to test Mini 3 pro? Thats The one to get! :-)
Arrived yesterday so hopefully film in the next 14 days
I’ve ridden it and she’s a beast
The new motors look like Boosted motors
@@scottdaviesyoutube Thanks Scott I riden skateboards since 1976 Boosted mini X since 2019. Love to here about it. Have a Tynee Explorer now. And my Mini X.
Still waiting? ;-) I have orderd my Mini 3 pro and the offroadkit. Love to here from you what you think about it. :-)
Maté absolutely love it
It’s a nice “extra” upgrade over the mini 3
The power and battery is fantastic
The upgrade for the 20700 to 21700 is smart
And very clever how they make them fit
And the 80a upgraded explorer esc is almost too powerful for a mini board but once you understand it it’s awesome
And you can always turn the acceleration curve down in the remote of it’s too fast off the line
Aiden mentioned that a pro version of the Mini 3 might also be coming out, do you know anything about that?
Mate it arrived today (about 3hrs ago)
@@scottdaviesyoutubesick! any hints on what’s different/upgraded?
Esc motors and battery
Basically from what I can see when I pulled it apart
It had the explorer esc has bigger motors and a p42a cells (mini 3 has M42a (20700 vs 21700)
Basically more power
@@scottdaviesyoutube Good upgrades, but I was hoping for a slightly bigger deck with a larger kick tail. Maybe Tynee will see this an answer my prayers 🙏
Something is coming soon ! Just can’t say what her 😉
This board or the Onsra Challenger
Hmmmm quite different board
The challenger is a lot bigger and higher
The Tynee mini 3 and 3 pro is a more traditional mini esk8
@@scottdaviesyoutube at only 159 USD price diff, im torn. Both could suit me needs. Smaller board more easliy everything, bigger board more power in all aspects.
@@johnniewalker33 Go the Tynee Mini 3 Pro 80a ESC same as Explorer,
This is like the Honda civic of esk8’s
Looks like the exway
Nah Aidan has openly said and wrote on his website it’s inspired by the Boosted Mini, if you put it next to the wave it’s very very different
🍹🛹👍
Disappointed! No innovation
Hmmm really ?
13S Battery, all new enclosure, enclosed belts, upgraded wheels, far superior water proofing, app,
That enclosed body could have been implemented onto the first board. If backfire decided to create a mini board with the led lights it would be game over.
The mini board 3 does not make me want to upgrade from the mini 2
Lol i dont think i could use this because of the side of my feet us 14.5 wide lol
his code is $25 OFF SCOTTD
This or the Stella s1 @scottdaviesyoutube
