In case anyone is wondering, the cells seem to be the EVE ICR18650/20P. I had trouble finding the specific Hobbywing ESC so working off Scott's presumption of about 25A max power draw (Which seems about right), in a 3p setup these cells would be discharging less than 10A per parallel. If you take a look at the datasheet for these cells discharging at 10A it shows that the capacity of the cells remains above 80% for over 600 cycles (Potentially reaching even 700 under the conditions of this board). Tldr; These cells are not Molicel P42A's but the way Tynee is using them they will have an incredible longevity. Far outlasting and outperforming competitors such as the Meepo Mini 5 & Wowgo Mini 2 at a considerably lower price point. If you're looking for the best value shortboard, this is it. Not to mention Tynee's after sales support being markedly better than the two previously mentioned brands makes this an absolute no brainer.
Thanks for your great video Scott. And nice to see Drew here❤ Tynee mini 3 SL is built for students and campus. So we can’t sell it at high price. If it’s not a SL series. We can sell it at $479 (because it’s better than many boards which at this price range). We sell it at such a low price just because we want more people to try E-boards and get more people to know Tynee. After they get this board. We think they can’t believe we can make such a great board at such a low price. 😂😂😂
⚡ *This price is INSAAANE!* 👌🏼⚡ Well done to Tynee again, they continue to cover all bases, this is great for people feelin like they are gettin priced out or those lookin for a budget mini. I love what Aiden continues to do with Tynee!! Great battery size for the price 👏🏼👏🏼 You missed one SL out, Student Loan 😂😭 The video call was an awesome inclusion!!! I absolutely love youtube crossovers and seein friends discuss esk8. I used to commute on a hub mini in rocky London, it's doable and good trainin to improve rider skill 😂 I hope they sell that battery pack separately, good budget option.
Kia ora Scott, I just purchased with your link, thanks for the review I have been wanting a short board for under 1000nzd and this looks perfect, now Im counting the days til it makes it to New Zealand! Got my first electriic skate about 6 months ago, its a meepo nls and its super fun way to run my dog but I hate that I cant do tight turns around town so hoping this will be the solution, plus as Ive been a skater most of my younger life, Im hoping o be able to hop off small curbs and do a few manuals etc
I'm no hub type guy but really good option for those who needs it for cheaper price to start off with their ESK8 journey. I would definitely inspect the board like any other brand new boards right out of box to make sure it is good to go.
I plan to buy one to take to my office every day. The maximum distance, if I don't take the car, is close to 17 km. Do you think this short board is comfortable and stable enough for this kind of ride? It is both in the city and there is also a straight line of 3/4kms. Is the battery sufficient for these 17kms with an average speed of 20-25km/h? Thanks!
It’s a very safe bet, super smooth very predictable and very well made, and she can grow in to it, not like the smaller wheel ones that kids will out grow the performance quickly
@@scottdaviesyoutube that's so cool. My daughter is ten and fearless. BTW ordered an endeavor 2 gt. Thanks for the discount code. I can't wait to ride it.
@@scottdaviesyoutube You have no idea how much I appreciate this response. I was unsure of which board to get and just ordered the tynee so I'm very glad to see i made the right choice.
@@hiddevanderbeek9055 I'm thinking about getting this since backfire is sold out of zealot V but this is cheaper and more range. How have you liked your board?
Hello I'm looking to buy an electric skateboard and watched already a good amount of video on RUclips. As I'm in Belgium I'm looking to buy from a compilation does shipping from within the Euro zone in regard shipping costs as well extra import and extra sales taxes. Also want a company that has a local warehouse in EU in case of need to send it in for repair. I see you reviewed different company boards. You already mentioned one company to avoid. But I also see a lot of unhappy people talking about the service at Meepo. What's your opinion and advice ?
Would you pick this one or exway ripple? I like how light ripple is and it looks almost like a regular skateboard. But this board is much more capable for same price

Never thought I’d buy a mini but I’m 100% ordering this
What a fun video to be apart of and agree tynee making a fantastic price with great specs!
Great review and cruising! I had been looking at the miniboards for a while and this will be my first esk8 🎉
Awesome man and thanks for watching !!
You’ll love it such a fun little board
Scott and Drew the board dream team.
The perfect Mini, for the budget savy buyer. Well Done Tynee and great review as usual Scott.

@@scottdaviesyoutube great ]lace too, I have family in Napier. Cant wait to get this board
that looks awesome... great price too. have fun in sydney!
So happy to see this 6Ah hub-driven model
in comparison to their belt-driven Mini 3 or Mini 3 Pro models.
I'm no hub type guy but really good option for those who needs it for cheaper price to start off with their ESK8 journey. I would definitely inspect the board like any other brand new boards right out of box to make sure it is good to go.
I would never recommend a short board for a first board lol one word… stability.

Out of all the mini 3’s which is the best one for the price ? Just a question 😊
I think im going to get my daughter this board for Christmas.

@scottdaviesyoutube she likes my evolve but it's way to big for her. I think it would be a blast to skate with her.

What do you think is better, then Meepo Atom Mini 3S or this?
This, the others feel like budget boards or a kids board this just feels like a normal esk8

Ever since I tried a belt drive I've said I'd never go back to hub motors. I might get this one.
Im in the same boat lol
What are the differences between the new Tynee Ultra Hub and the Ultra belt ? Pro'sa d con's ?
Hi Scott, do you think it is possible to change to any type of hydrid wheels or cloudwheels? I'm new at this 😅 Thanks
this is how mini kicktail boards should be. lighter weight; not bulky; slick, affordable, portable, hub, quiet , not powerful, not long range
Might have to video call you next time 😉
@@scottdaviesyoutube lol sounds good brotha 🤘🏼💯
Looks like a great Exway Ripple alternative with bigger battery for the same price
Not to mention, Bigger wheels and faster (just not as light)
Which would you prefer: Tynee Mini 3 SL or the WowGo Mini 2?
Did you say this ESC is belt drive compatible?
Drew beat you out with the comparison vid . Nice board good price for a first board .
What do you recommend this or the ultra SL?

100% this one the wheels are too small on the ripple and struggle over crack
Plus I burn through the ripple battery in like 2 miles 😱
Ok I will pull the trigger! I will purchase with your code :) thank you for the reply
Do you have to keep the battery charging if it’s not being used?
It’s recommended to leave it around 40-50% when not using got too long
This or the Meepo Mini 5? Both are on sale for Black Friday right now 🤔
100% this
It’s a lot more stable and fun to ride
Thanks for the fast reply! Fingers crossed your discount code works with the special price.
@Tommy-vd5zy it does !!
Very nice little board.
Looks like the USA you're riding, why give metric system specs???

Hobbywing ESC with ADJUSTABLE BRAKES!? #TakeMyMoney
Yea crazy right
For those looking, 5 fast clicks on the mode button for the settings menu.
So is it a MEEPO MINI 3S clone?
Kind off,
Rides a lot smoother, less wobble, better quality deck life time warranty on trucks and a nicer esc
