I loved that part about Zacc taking Murugi to the awards- There is something so sexy and ethereal about seeing your partner in his/her element. That's a whole new level unlocked of loving and appreciating your personal person. Congratulations once again to TIM and to the team behind this great production.
It's a shame how we have had to develop coping mechanisms for Cat-calling I once turned around and responded to a guy who did that. The look on his face was to die for. He didn't expect that. I told him not to call someone if they have nothing to say. The shame on him especially coz his boys were there and laughing 😂😂😂. It was a Girl power moment
So my best friend is now obsessed with TMI and has literally forced me to watch this nowww😭😭he's definitely a king in betweener noww.. THANK YOU BIG SISTERS❤️
At my big age, man asks me 'Is that a soft no or a hard no'. WHAAAT! I ask, 'What's the difference??". He quickly realized how far from the line he was. Pseudo-telepathy, coercion, fashion and leading man on are not consent! No, is a COMPLETE sentence. Behave, you have mothers and sisters.
First of all the amount of times Lydia has said "are you 12?!" Is hilarious!!!! Second one thing I hate that men do is when they don't do something they said with their own mouths they'll do. Then when you follow up they ghost you. COME ON JAKE 🥺😒😒😒
I have enjoyed every bit of this episode😊 Honestly I'm glad that TMI exists coz my twenties are much easier,I'm learning alot from you big sisters. Men should really understand and accept that a NO means No that's one thing that i hate. I also hate men with long dirty nails its an ick
Finally 🎉it's definitely TMI guys ❤ Liked, commented and viewing now❤ notification gang gang....aki you guys look beautiful today.congratulation on the win, consistency and tunawapenda sana
A for Consistency ladies and we are here for it👏🏾can we also talk about how unsafe it can get for us ladies out there, like if I’m going on a date i have to update my bestie on the location, details of the said guy just incase anything went wrong. Do guys ever do that😩they can’t relate
As always the episode is enlightening...our ladies are looking❤🔥❤🔥On the topic, things men do that women hate; mansplaining or belittling women's experience. Often happens in work spaces, social spaces, places of worship, relationships and such, it's very sad.
As usual, amazing episode ladies. Well I hate hate it when men use the fact that they are men as a reason to defend their poor hygiene or messiness. Its annoying, who ever said men should be dirty..
I paused this and went to watch the movie and omg life-changing... Apart from the period part... The whole story was worthwhile... I swear... Great episode girls..
If you do an episode on feminism, I would love to hear you talk about intersectional feminism and what it means for African women/African societies specifically; western feminism can look very different.
The knowledge that I get from you two jeeeeezzz it's overwhelming....rn I'm even using some of your phrases in my talks and I'm loving it❤ that's how addicted I'm with this channel
Hello darls,,, you're doing an amazing thing over here... Please talk about feminism,, the whole topic and misunderstandings around that. I have personally encountered a man that feels like everything a woman says is feminist.. like he does something stupid and when you pick at it, he's like women are like this, I don't like how you're feminising me.. I can't stand feminism... And such kind of nonsense. And sometimes as a woman you might feel that trying to make this man understand that his perspectives are just in hell and that what he thinks is feminism is actually not,,, too much work of nonsense... I would love to hear your views and perspectives on this topic covered extensively 😊😊😊
I'm in my early twenties (21) and I relate 100% with everything you guys have said. 💯It's great, but also sad, to know we're all angry about the same things. Also felt more connected to you guys and just women in general because we be going through the same struggle sis. Loved the episode and love you amazing ladies. ❤Keep at it; your experiences and advice make it easier to navigate this messy in between :) #Inbetweener4L
Just watched this then watched The Den (joyride podcast),recent episode, and they talked about why men don't call out each other, this and that episode really relate! Love you ladies, amazing episode as always!
This episode has me on the floor 😂😂😂😂😂I keeeernt guys Not Lydia.."change that t-shirt Jake!"...am not arguing with you about water..njoroge😂😂😂😂 Murugi. Mimicking."that's some gay shit bro 😂😂😂😂 Someone get me to the ER .my Ribs!!
In a normal society, a normal man will take a `No!' as a `No!' and those who keep insisting, something is really wrong upstairs. Also Lyd, cat calls are sickening. It's either you drive or you use an Uber. The desperation for a greeting, I don't get it. People have normalized nonsense. Ati `msalimie tu.' Can never be me.That's how doors of abuse open. I will never greet someone I feel uncomfortable responding to. This episode is truthful sheesh!
Fair play is good kwanza the beginning and ending scenes...murugi go catch up,you ladies look lovely n as always we locked na key iko Indian ocean, not even my bosses call is getting me off your episodes lol
Dope episode🎉..on matters feminism and patriarchy theres actually a club or whatever you may call it in the States where women actually are going back to those days ( Mad Men era, if you know you know) kazi ni nyumbani, taking care of kids, submitting to the patriarchy fully . Even ambitious women are leaving their careers to join that society. Its quite disturbing but hey each to their own.
Yessss it's Definitely TMIIIIIIII 🎶💃🏿💃🏿. Nyinyi warembo ni Mashujaa, hongera🎉 and kudos for the CONSISTENCY👏🏾👏🏾❤❤. Interesting topic😅. King Betweeners kujeni hapa.
The part where Murugi says about wanting to know what body size, hair, your current date was with previously...😂i can relate.. i must know if am the alien in his world 😂 before i start being treated like one😂..men are pretty much direct when it comes to physique..
Wednesdays are my faves. First I totally recommend Fair Play it's a great movie. On the topic, I hate men who promise to do something then he ghosts you or he just pretend🙄 I'm like are you normal? 🤔
Lydia, I was where you were but you'll be surprised when you find yourself dating and married to a 50 year old. Love knows no boundaries and when God decides it's him you will not be able to resist.
You're right btw we don't need to have low standards just bc we're young. I truly am a lucky bitch to have yall in my 20s! Also, as a person studying abroad, every time I walk around the streets at night out here in my slutty little outfits I'm grateful, then I'm incredibly mad I don’t get this basic bodily autonomy in my own country just because I was born as a woman. Pure madness!
Where exactly are you studying? Would love to go to that country. Do you know how much I love night walks but I'm always scared to death to take them in Uganda!😂
Hey TMI's, I love every part of your episodes, I'm always looking forward to the next. I have a concern regarding the volume to the TMI beats/ introductory music(I don't know how it's called) after introduction. It's normally too loud and at times irritates the ears especially with the buds on. Kindly tell your sound engineers to work on that.
I loved those scenes in Fair Play that normalized intimacy during menstruation. It made it just kawaida which it is. I have also been there. The rest of the movie was so well written too, we started off liking him and ended up hating him lol.
One thing I don't regret is listening to this podcast. Truly enlightening. The periods' reaction is always a major turn off. Please do one about feminism.
It's passive aggressive n triggering the boogers comment. Friends who give you low jabs😢 the torment. Ukiwa na this kind of friend, endelea tu na therapy juu wueh.
When i became a teenager, hips widen and b**bs, there was a corner where all the young men/Even mid aged men would hang out in our Nairobi Eastlands estate, wee that place was a nightmare to girls and young women, they would cat call you as you approched, as you walk past them and after you have passed, the worst if the loudest cat caller hated you, his comments would be mean with the calls. Upto this day am traumatized when i pass a group of men.... wee

Speaking for myself and many others... We would like an episode on things men do that women love
It's a shame how we have had to develop coping mechanisms for Cat-calling

Those are cowards and their egos are weak as fuck.
They are miserable too if you check closely and they have nothing to say to you.

Second one thing I hate that men do is when they don't do something they said with their own mouths they'll do. Then when you follow up they ghost you. COME ON JAKE 🥺😒😒😒
And now it looks like you're the one forcing issues, like no one told you to say you will do A and B🙄

In a normal society, a normal man will take a `No!' as a `No!' and those who keep insisting, something is really wrong upstairs.
Also Lyd, cat calls are sickening.
It's either you drive or you use an Uber.

Please, do an episode on feminism with deeper understanding
I admire your consistency. Keep it up👏🏻

Today I have arrived on time!!! Roll call iko wapi 😅

Me I hate when men are nonchalant, show me if you want me or tell me you don't
Wednesdays are my faves. First I totally recommend Fair Play it's a great movie. On the topic, I hate men who promise to do something then he ghosts you or he just pretend🙄 I'm like are you normal? 🤔
1- hiding emotion
2- where are you going with keeping working
3- when someone doesn't want to talk about his ex
Lydia, I was where you were but you'll be surprised when you find yourself dating and married to a 50 year old. Love knows no boundaries and when God decides it's him you will not be able to resist.
Amazing episode. Please do an episode on feminisms.
Yeeeey ...a topic about Feminist wud really start us up.🎉

Wednesdays are my favorite 😍 Thanks Ladies ❤
Now that you mentioned TMI in UK, you should consider doing tours to different countries....

Here to learn and enjoy
Lydiah with your facial expression 😅😅
I loved those scenes in Fair Play that normalized intimacy during menstruation. It made it just kawaida which it is. I have also been there. The rest of the movie was so well written too, we started off liking him and ended up hating him lol.
hating is an understatement😭😂

It's passive aggressive n triggering the boogers comment. Friends who give you low jabs😢 the torment. Ukiwa na this kind of friend, endelea tu na therapy juu wueh.
@@anita54869I don't think it's related with the boogers comment. That's Lyd's kind of humor IMO
@@kanyaakitili9692 the ones that get it, get it
or for everytime she says "Jake" 😂
@@kanyaakitili9692 naaah that 'humor' unaforce iko so out of context and misplaced
I hate how men always pee on the side of the road.
Deal breaker for decades. I can't
I think the point that you guys said I have tmi and am.in earlier 20s is just so great.....I think I need this moreee.thanks
We really need a part 2
When i became a teenager, hips widen and b**bs, there was a corner where all the young men/Even mid aged men would hang out in our Nairobi Eastlands estate, wee that place was a nightmare to girls and young women, they would cat call you as you approched, as you walk past them and after you have passed, the worst if the loudest cat caller hated you, his comments would be mean with the calls.
