Cog Railway at Mount Washington | WORST WEATHER IN THE WORLD?!

State #17: New Hampshire - Live free or die!
We've ridden trains in the past. This was nothing like those other times!
This cog (rack-and-pinion) railway climbs up the side of the mountain at angles that feel like you are falling out of your seat. A ride like that has to take you to a magnificent spot, right? Well, only if you consider the worst weather in the world a magnificent spot.
We lucked out and somehow found ourselves reaching the summit with clear, breezy skies, but that changed in just a matter of minutes.

My husband and I went here a few years ago. Very cool place to visit. We always talk about going back because when we went, we couldn't see anything from the top. It was beautiful weather on the bottom and then the top was just cloudy, super windy and cold.. and you couldn't see or even talk to anyone cause the wind was so bad haha. Definitely an interesting experience though!
