  • In this episode of Good2Great with Stan, NZ Hip Hop Artist Melodownz sits down with kiwi legend Stan Walker to discuss the tools he uses when under pressure, as well as why he’s OK with being vulnerable.
We’re super excited to launch Good2Great with Stan - a brand new web series featuring Stan Walker interviewing other amazing kiwi artists, stylists and musicians. Each interview provides a unique perspective on working through non-unique challenges such as stress, anxiety, acceptance and identity. These challenges are often some of the biggest concerns facing our generation today.
Good2Great with Stan launches with four recent interviews, featuring Kiwi musicians JessB, Melodownz and Diggy Dupe, and Fashion Stylist and Director Sammy Salsa. These amazing humans all have a very personal story to tell, whether it’s around facing rejection, stress and anxiety or the importance of self-love. Together with Stan Walker they discuss very personal experiences they have been through and coping mechanisms they use on a daily basis, whether that be exercise, setting goals or practicing breathing techniques, to overcome their challenges.

    About Youthline:
Youthline has been supporting young people and working with communities for 50 years. Initially set up as a telephone counselling helpline service, for youth and run by youth, it is today a first point of contact for young people in New Zealand to access a wide range of youth development and support services across the country. Youthline is by far the most recognised youth support organisation with 71% familiar with Youthline alone.
The Youthline Helpline costs over $1.1m per year to operate of which $90,000 is from government funding. The balance of over $1m needs to be fundraised each and every year in what is an increasingly challenging fundraising climate.
