Love the videos you put out, you seem very genuine. I got my associates degree in NDT in Texas and now working on on my bachelors - which I will complete in May. But when doing my associates, I always tried to do an internship for NDT and couldn’t do internships due to safety concerns. Always got offers for full time, but I would have rather worked for free (intern at the time) cause I wanted to continue school. -Needless to say I want to do NDT, but I got a great job already making six figures in the oil and gas field. I contemplate to jump ship and make peanuts doing RT, which seems around here what everyone starts doing first. Ultimately I would love to get my certs and do consulting and teach. Tough choice for me... Keep up the videos 👍
Thank you for taking the time to write this. I am grateful that you watch my videos. And it's great that you are already rocking 6 figure in Oil and Gas. If you decide to jump ship, let me know how I can help. There is a lot of money to be made in NDT :)
As someone who lives in Texas, it’d be jarring to my body to go to a snowy place! How often do you leave your “home base”? Aka travel outside your state?
Great channel here for us NDT people. I finished school a year ago here in sweden at NDT training center :), still looking for a job. Hope to get into the ndt life soon.
