Thinking of going into NDT. I have an engineering degree. Will my engineering degree help me get a job faster? Will it help me get a higher salary?

Yes it does help but not always. It will help you get to your Level III sooner. It will also help you with API exams like 510, 570, 653 etc.
If you work as an inspector, you will get the salary of an inspector regardless of Engineering degree but your learning curve personally is faster which is directly correlated to your salary eventually.

Yea will definitely help you learning curves wise and getting a job. As pay goes it won’t make any difference.

That's a fact. We cannot change the number of companies. But we can try to be the best among them. Better skills and honest work= big market share, big salary.
