You took the song by Sultanbekov and extracted the interesting melody that was left somewhat in the background, creating a "new arrangement" that is utterly ethereal!!! Your arrangement leaves me somewhere in the luminiferous ether - I'm addicted!!!!! Thank you!!!

Since the song contains so many Turkic sentence types and idioms, it is nearly impossible to translate it into English perfectly, but I tried to translate it without distorting the meaning. Here is the result:
When the dead of winter arrives
      When flaky snow falls
      I take my dombra
and play my heart saz (A Turkic stringed instrument)
I never talk about my worries
The fathers who hear the voice of my dombra
The mothers who lend an ear to its meaning
      They ponder what they've heard
It makes an impact in their hearts
And they don't hesitate to shed tears
In the days when commanders have endless fears
In the days soldiers can't sleep
      The Encourager of hearts
      The Strengthening of wars
      The Wise Dombra

Totally! I think it's very much why they play this rythm in central asia: it sounds exactly like a horse's gallop, and it makes sense given their cultures

@@faryafaraji In heavy metal, this style of guitar playing, popularised by Iron Maiden, is commonly called the "galloping riff" for that very reason - it sounds reminiscent of a horse gallop. It was a very common feature of the NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) scene of the early 80's. I have no idea if Iron Maiden and other NWOBHM guitarists were influenced at all by old Turkic/Mongolic music, or if that development just came about by chance, but it's interesting to think about. Iron Maiden have many historic-themed songs, including at least one about Genghis Khan, so they may very well have been influenced by historical Turkic music during their pioneering days, and then they in turn influenced many metal guitarists that followed. Cool to think about at least.
