I was brewing kit beers a few months back, got sick of them real quick, didn't taste overly bad just didn't taste that great either, Going to start doing small batch all grain brews when the weather cools down a bit.
I agree, Canadian part is pretty much a selling ploy I’ve always felt. I reckon this is alright kit but you need to swap out the yeast for a nova lager at least and it will I feel , give you a generic tasting lager. Cheers mate
Sounds like a very good result for a quick and cheap kit beer. I do see this kit recommended quite a bit, especially as one that’s good to super charge with extra hops and some specialty grain. If I brewed it, I’d probably look at a kilo of light dry malt, 200g of dextrose, 200g of Carapils or Carahell and 20-30g of hops. Cheers!
Nice one mate. Amazing how much difference a decent yeast makes to a kit. Cheers! 🍻
Cheers Mate. Problem is down here the kit cost $19 and two packs of nova nearly $18, a lot of kit brewers probably wouldn’t do it sadly

Kits have their place but All grain is simply sensational
I brewed this kit and found that it doesn't taste like any Canadian beer I have bought. I agree it doesn't taste good. Cheers 😀 👍 🍻 🇨🇦

Yes and yes! I always felt this is the pick of the coopers kits personally
