How to do St Thomas Beach Excursion from CRUISE PORT on your own

I live in St. Thomas, this is pretty cool, that one is easiest to access from Crown Bay Dock & Havensight, it's maybe a 15-20 minute ride from Havensight if your ship docks there which is around 12$ for 2 to get to. Other beaches on St. Thomas include Magens Bay, Secret Harbor, Coki and more that you can easily get to with a taxi ride for 40$ or so for 2 round trip. Thanks for giving our island(s) a shout out. Another one too when you come back is St. John, for 2 it's 20 or 25$ to Red Hook and then 16$ round trip per person to St. John on the passenger ferry. Then another taxi on St. John will take you to any beach you would like to go to, popular ones being Cinnamon Bay, Trunk Bay & Maho Bay, but there are more.
Are there fees to go to Secret Harbor (Beach Resort) and use their facilities if we are buying lunch & drinks from them?

It might have storm damage but I didn't notice it because the trip I took was short and didn't really look around the island. The beach was everything I could have wanted in a perfect Caribbean beach! Thank you for watching!

I would look online because there are many Princess cruise ships so I don't know but if you get the chance to do this excursion, please let me know how you liked it!

Yes. The bus only goes to the ferry and back so it's not like it's confusing or you might get on wrong bus. It's as easy as it sounds! Thanks for watching!
How often does the bus go to the ferry and when is the last ferry?
This is a great way to go to a beach ~ Thank you! I was wondering if there was beach chair rental there? Does it get crowded?
The chairs were free. I think the reason why is they make money from the bar if you choose to drink. It was not crowded on the day we were there back in September. I would definitely go back, it was cheap, easy and beautiful.

@@bryanwindrow7276 Please know that there are 2 cruise ports in St Thomas, Havensight and Crown Bay. Our Royal Caribbean ship docked in Crown Bay and that is where we walked from to get to the ferry. So if your ship docks in Havensight, it will be different. Enjoy your cruise, I have never been on MSC but am going on RC again next week!
We will going to St Thomas on February 27. I use a walker, do you think I can still get on the water taxi?
The beach is free to use .. and was there much fish life for snorkeling ? Looks like a great beach :)
We didn't snorkel but people did bring snorkel gear and were out snorkeling. It was a perfect beach and we are going back there in December again when we are on our next cruise. I think it's free because they want you to purchase drinks and food at their restaurant. Thanks for watching!
It is free just a 5$ short ferry ride from st Thomas. One of the best beaches you can visit in the Caribbean with everything you need to relax all day
Did you show the restaurant? I saw nothing but an empty beach at the end!
What time did you catch the water taxi? I'd like to do this next year, but want to make sure I get back in time. I don't want to be a pier runner lol.
I left the beach about 3 or so and had plenty of time to get back to the ship. The beach and ferry are really not far from the dock. Also, please note this is from Crown Bay pier so make sure your ship is docked there. Happy cruising!

St Thomas has 2 cruise ports and Harmony of the Seas docks in Crown Bay. If your cruise docks in Crown Bay, then this will apply. Thanks for watching and enjoy your cruise!

I have been to St Thomas many times. This beach works well if you dock in Crown Bay. The busier dock in St. Thomas is on the opposite side of town at Havensight. If you dock there you must take a taxi to The water taxi. It is several miles and not walkable
Good point. We were on Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas so it was easy and conveniet to go to this beach.
Do you remember which port you docked at ?- as I have heard there are two that teeth ships use.

You may end up doing the same things as couples. This place is honeymoon capital, it is set up to be a paradise for couples, however, going hiking can be an option.
