Great little film to remind us all the local waters on our door step. Back to basic fishing with natural patterns, lovely!
Thanks Peter!
Nice one Ceri!
Thanks Rhys!
enjoyed that,
Thanks Paul!
Same way I fish the Lake District. In a decent blow size 10 Zulu on the top dropper, leaded PT nymph on the point, and something slight on the middle dropper. Terrestrials were mentioned, but didn't TYB have a reputation for abundant caddis?
it still has sedge/caddis in fair quantity, although not in vast numbers as it used to
Very good, looks like a trip from the North is in order. Question: You seem to strip in
line quickly, is that the norm?
yes they like it quick sometimes!
Can't wait to get back up in the hills, another quality video gents, da iwan!
Thanks David!
What flys would you say are best to use for brownies on reservoirs?
wet flies such as bibio, mallard and claret, black pennel, zulu, red tag. Also Cormorants, black crunchers, diawl bachs, hoppers and small dark lures such as woolly bugger
