This young fella is no Protege, he's a Phenom. A protege is when you're on the come up under someone else's tutelage, more so from someone who has been to the top. This kid literally took it upon himself from the day he decided he was going to be a UFC world champion to dedicate his every day to becoming one. What we're witnessing now is the honesty of his commitment to himself. He talks like a champ, he walks like a champ and is definitely showing the work ethic and commitment of a champ. Exciting times for this young fella indeed. Looking forward to following his journey.
He is such a process driven guy, doing BJJ, challenging himself to extend fights he could’ve won by knockout, just for more ring time. Tremendously disciplined and deserves everything he gets.
