    Thanks Gill. There is some very helpful information here. I found your video while troubleshooting why my laser trigger failed to activate the shutter. Turns out I was pointing the laser at the wrong sensor! Your video made that very clear.

    Very helpful video which helped me through initial frustrations. I discovered that plugging the laser into the accessory port on the Pluto means the laser turns off when triggered and then resets so there is no red dot on the target.

    Excellent Gill and Thank You for making this and sharing.. Have you tried lighting the back ground instead of having the flash on the camera? That gets rid of the hot spots on the glass and liquid. You might need two flashes. I think I will try this in a highball glass with some ice and cheap whiskey. I love my Pluto Trigger.

    Great Video ( Greetings from the U.K. 🇬🇧) I thought you needed the water droplet Valve kit to do this, but you seem to have managed to do it without it ..that’s quite inspiring to be honest, what other things have you also done with the Pluto lately?

      Thankyou. I bought the Pluto initially to capture lightning. It is great for that! I mostly use it for night shooting of star trails and timelapse but it does so many things! You will see I have made a series of videos and there are still more videos to make. It is just finding the time to make them.

    Hello,
    Do you know what is the output (?) / input (?) on the back of that laser, next to the USB port?
    Thanks

    Where did you set up the laser?

  • @joeplays1

    Is the laser going across the glass so when the object passes through the laser it sets off the Pluto for the picture? Thanks for any info.

      Hi Joseph. The laser beam is set above the glass so when the fruit drops through it, it triggers the laser

    Hi Gill, I just set up my new Pluto and laser to duplicate your shot. I have a Lumix fz300 cam. The laser is set about 1 foot above the glass and when the beam is broken my camera takes quite a while to trigger, by then all the action is over (Milliseconds)...is there any basic setting on my camera that may be causing this? Exposure and focus are set to manual and duplicate your settings. Very frustrating, do I need to raise the laser higher?

    • @GillFryPhotography
      @GillFryPhotography  4 года назад

      You can raise the laser higher. Also check your settings by clicking the three dots top right of the phone on your laser page. Cheers Gill

      Hi Anthony. The stands are light stands that I bought cheaply on ebay. Hope that helps :)
