- Padma Sri Dr. V. Mohan is a renowned Diabetologist and Chairman and Chief of Diabetology at Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Specialities Centre, a WHO Collaborating Centre for Non-communicable Diseases Prevention and Control and an IDF Centre of Education. He is also President and Director of the Madras Diabetes Research Foundation.
Dr. Mohan is an ardent devotee of Bhagawan who also serves Him as the Convener of the Sri Sathya Sai Trust of Tamil Nadu.
In this enlightening conversation with Radio Sai's Bishu Prusty he shares his learning and some valuable insights given by Bhagawan regarding health and habits in general, and control and prevention of Diabetes in particular.

For me, couple of things that I noticed about the doctor -
- his humility
- his immense, unconditional devotion, love of his Swami/Guru.
- I had already thought of ‘empathy’ and he mentioned the same thing here.
- science, medicine and faith, spirituality don’t need to be mutually exclusive and can coexist.
And to think, that I didn’t know of this doctor or anything about him, even until about 10 days ago.
(Yes, Mid-June 2023). I came to know only because my A1C reached high and I started researching about it and came upon this doctor.
All I can say is probably, Swami, even though I am not exactly an ardent follower of his, was looking out for me and put Dr. Mohan in my life’s path.
My wish to Dr. Mohan is:
May your service to humanity continue to your heart’s content.
May your unconditional love of Swami continue and may HIS blessings protect your clan.

Why sai suffered a lot in the last stage
Spiritual orphans find everything spoken by Swamis amazing once they start believing. They don't bother to see the vast spiritual knowledge our sages and ancestors gifted us in the great scriptures and teachings. These Bhakthas won't get inspiration from vedas, Upanishads , Geetha , Adishankara or any other sage who attained extreme realisations and provided us with extraordinary writings and teachings. By guiding people into superficial shallow Bhakti and petty inspirations will definitely sideline the great spiritual teachings explaining the omnipresent omniscient in the most sublime teachings. Pl keep your Bhakti whether it is well placed or not to your personal level . Don't propagate it. Indians are vulnerable to Moodha bhakti. In this over enthusiasm they are losing the Almighty . Neo theology neophyilosophies neo God's are all curses in disguise. The Omnipresent will ever remain evasive to these distractors. It is Seeking not believing. This is not to speak against Satya Sai . Budha said Look at the Moon, do not look at my finger. Sai expressed on many occasions such opinion. He has shown the direction towards a long and difficult path. He never asked to forget the goal to praise and pray him.
Chedu Nijam My few cents worth of opinion. If all cars take you to the same destination, then why spend on bigger and various brands of cars? It's because we choose what suits us, our taste, our budget and our needs the best. What the great sages said may not be comprehendable to everyone, in the same way what swami says may not be comprehendable to everyone, but may reach the few who are meant to. God chooses the instrument, form and vehicle to deliver his message, from scriptures to sages to swamis. But the message is one. One divinity. The least humanity can do is ACCEPT and not protest.
