first time I met a 1st gen wolfdog.. Lets just say that I have a big GS and when he snarls, people take a step back. This girl though felt I was in her yard. Lets just say, I fell in love instantly for the sheer ferociousness she showed to protect what she considered hers. Ended up being best buddies.
Our family had a wolf for a pet. They are very affectionate but it had to eat in a closed room and no one was allowed in there while it ate. You put the food in the room and then put the wolf in and closed the door. After it had eaten and had time to calm down, we let him out again. He also didn’t like strangers so we couldn’t let non-family members in the house with him unless he was locked in his room. We also had to keep the door doors closed when the mail and paper were delivered.

first time I met a 1st gen wolfdog.. Lets just say that I have a big GS and when he snarls, people take a step back. This girl though felt I was in her yard. Lets just say, I fell in love instantly for the sheer ferociousness she showed to protect what she considered hers. Ended up being best buddies.

Our family had a wolf for a pet. They are very affectionate but it had to eat in a closed room and no one was allowed in there while it ate. You put the food in the room and then put the wolf in and closed the door. After it had eaten and had time to calm down, we let him out again. He also didn’t like strangers so we couldn’t let non-family members in the house with him unless he was locked in his room. We also had to keep the door doors closed when the mail and paper were delivered.
