@wojak-sensei6424 what does something that is a legitimate threat to kill or seriously maim someone have to do with a lack of attraction to someone who is overweight. Nothing.
If you read the Atkins book, you quickly come to understand it's primarily a problem of sugar, which is quite readily converted into glucose (and fructose.) The starches have a far lower GI. And sugar, which used to be considered harmless, today is in everything which makes eating healthily next to impossible. Amusingly cutting sugar from the diet is in fact sufficient to lose weight quite quickly, which is what I did two years ago on a whim. All I did was bake a bread without salt to fix my salt imbalance, and I threw in sugar on a whim. Combining sugar-free bread and sugar-free jams created a weight-loss bread which worked so well it might conceivably be turned into a product. I lost 20 kg in half a year, lol. Later on I started putting my bread in the freezer, which does a better job of preserving it than sugar ever did. Just pre-slice it, and individual slices can be brought out and heated just fine.
One stems from the other - if a primitive part of your brain is telling you you're a very successful organism that has gathered all these nutrients so easily of course there's no drive to compete.
Incoming Info Dump: I recommend, based on my experience in losing weight, the following: Breakfast: Eggs, pork, two slices of toast, glass of milk, cup of coffee. Proceed to do a morning warm-up. (Refer to calisthenics guides for more details. I recommend military basic training calisthenics) Workout when fat: 1 mile of walking (add jogging if you're able), lift weights starting from the heaviest you can for a week. If you feel that you can do more, add that after you rest from your initial workout (ten reps of the heavier weight if possible). Lunch: A decently balanced sandwich and 8 oz of orange juice (or apple juice). Rest for the rest of the day unless you're feeling stiff (or you have to work). Dinner: go easy on yourself, maybe treat yourself, but make a responsible decision. If you want something sweet after, make sure you check the sugar content. Considering (and I'm assuming you're American like myself) that most Americans are used to consuming sugar, I don't recommend completely eliminating sugar until you actually can feel a lack of desire for the sweet stuff. Most diet bros will be like "you gotta kill all the sugar from your diet", but I'm here to tell you that if you're like me and ate a lot of sweets growing up, it's not getting out of your system overnight.

I have respect for myself that I didn’t have before. Getting in shape does so much more than make you look “good”. I start my cut in April to get my six pack. Best shape of my life. Wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Proud of you, friend. Being happy with your appearance is the most important thing. Disregard the idiots like the people Dev showcased. They're either jealous or bitter because they know you actually seized the day and did something about your fitness.
The quintessential example of this double standard was in 2016 when every media personality was relentlessly mocking Trump for being obese, having weird hair, being orange, etc., while also nuking anyone who criticized Clinton for her appearance.
Body Positivity: There is no need to change your body, be happy with who you are and your body the way it is. Trans: You must change your body to be happy.
Honestly, I think a lot of body positivity stems from unrealized self-hatred and pure envy. They hate seeing others succeed at self improvement because they can't or won't themselves, so they call anyone else's announcements of success in it as fat shaming, when, in fact, if they put as much energy into self improvement as they did "fatctivism", they'd probably shape up and be much happier. I'm not saying you have to be thin to be healthy, but self-improvement almost always improves people's outlook, and excercise has been proven as well. Come to think of it, I think a lot of 'intersectionality' probably just comes from projected self hatred and envy.
I think you are hitting on something here. Just like feminazi want to shame stay at home moms when feminism was always about having the ability to choose. They are now saying women have to work or they are less than. That stay at home mothers produce nothing for society.
I’m a skinny chick, and yeah it’s jealousy and spite that drives this stuff. Growing up, many girls would make fun of me for being skinny or not having a big butt or boobs, I’d always get the occasional comment about how skinny I was and how “Men like a woman with real curves” or “You have no a**” but these same girls and women who point it out and made fun of me would either have eating disorders, hate their bodies or have body images issues in general. They’re forcing a new beauty standard at this point but covid red pilled them by putting 78% of them in the hospital

As a 340-pound sedentary slob of a man, I'd like to say that I think insurance companies should be allowed to charge more for morbidly obese people, considering the tremendously higher risk we pose. It'll never happen, of course, because it would be immediately lampooned as targeting Latinos (and to a lesser extent black people).
Ironic isn't it then as Dev pointed out that the things men are generally shamed for, ie, height and dick size, can't be changed, while weight and personal grooming can be.
It was about that and then as usual rich white women hijacked it for their pet causes. Fun fact the term "grape culture" was originally about the conditions in men's prisons. Then rich white women hijacked it for their pet cause. Way back in the 70s yeah this isn't a new thing at all.
Why is body positivity only exclusive to those who are overweight? People who are physically fit or have thin body types deserve to be loved too (if not more for actually putting some effort in their lives to better themselves).
Sad to see that body positivity is not that inclusive for anhorexic people or thin with no muscle who are also bullied, with high suicide rates too. It's just so fatcentric they don't realize they are doing the same to other people, creating a forever loop of hate.

This just makes me sad to hear, these kinds of people live in such profound misery and won't change thier lives even if it is only a little at a time. It doesn't need to happen all at once over night, it just needs to start. Even in the smallest of ways.
@@NarinaSotha I mean living under full-blown socialism technically would inadvertently solve their overeating problem very quickly. We'll look foolish when they outlive us due to excess fat stores. They had a master plan this entire time.
It does need to happen all at once, because they're addicts and they can't have a bit of addictive behavior. All of their meals and portions need to be planned because if they let themselves make it up as they go, they're go off the deep end. Getting over 400 lbs isn't something that happens without a serious dedication to constant overeating. Your entire day needs to revolve around food to get to and maintain that weight. Being over 300 lbs sucks all day long. To take that suck, and make it suck so much more by adding another human worth of adipose tissue to your meat vessel is self-abuse.
25:10 This is the one that always gets me. It doesn't necessarily apply to just obese women, but I've known quite a few in the past who were a bit chubby. Nothing awful, but they all had the same things in common: Interested in male model type builds, preachy online about "body positivity", all worked sedentary office jobs, but most important, they were all lonely. Their standards for what they consider attractive doesn't get applied to themselves. Have preferences all you like, but don't be surprised when your "type" applies those same standards to you, and don't you dare complain. This goes for guys, too, but it's a little different. There are many guys complaining online about how lonely they are, but they never focus on themselves and stick to their same terrible habits. If those same people focused on becoming the best versions of themselves, I guarantee most of them would find someone. But sitting around and complaining, down in the dumps, is easier.
I thought I was reading English but turns out I was reading facts. What you wrote is something I identified too and I believe it is a major part of why people feel so miserable. people confuse accepting yourself and staying the same as you are and stagnate. While in reality, self acceptance has always been about accepting your flaws so you can improve yourself and grow as a person.

One of my mother's friends did missionary work in Burundi years ago. When she came back from overseas, she told us a horror story. There were children there who were skin and bone with the mothers begging for food. She went to offer them some food, but was told not to by one of the locals. Apparently, the women intentionally starve their children to death and eat all the food given by the local parish themselves. When the babies die, they have another and continue the process. This is all to get free stuff from foreigners and it has been going on for decades.
Before I moved to my current location, I lived in a “food desert.” I was broke and would mostly buy dry rice (super cheap), dry legumes (super cheap), meat (cheap cuts), and greens. Somehow, I was never fat.
That's actually really healthy in terms of nutrition. I learned a thing or two about nutrition from my Dad (who is a Doctor) and that's why I've never been obese. Rice gives you plenty of carbs (which is needed for a workout) and is almost as good in terms of getting fit as Spaghetti and meatballs. Beans and legumes have incomplete proteins (which is good for your digestive system) and meat has protein in it which you need to build muscle. Veggies keep your intestines clean and are pretty calorie light. You're doing great despite your limited finances. Keep it up!
A lot of misinformation still floats around about nutrition even to this day. You don't need to look for expensive or sophisticated food to stay healthy. Actually, a good bit of the current misinformation about nutrition comes from those who sell you bullshit overpriced products.
To stay at your weight you don't need expensive food, just not over-eat, or Not eat too much of carbs in combination with fats (or worse, that combined with alcohol). It gets expensive if you want to do an specialized diet for weithloss that doesn't force you to starve yourself, like Keto.
@@Gamerguy826 almost correct, dry rice is the type you dont want, as it is basicly just empty calories, after being procsesed to the point, where all nutrients are removed, but the emty calories stay. One of the things that made it take as long for it to show so much, was that "family cooking" and family structure in asia has held up much better compared to the west, but calory rich food and/or carbohydrate rich food is still a masive projected problem

I am now at the point, where i can realy imagin the carbs before i eat alot of food, simply by the fact, that carbs make me kinda sick now (if there is to much), compared to a balanced meal. My tastebuds are also improved alot, now that i dont get as much carbs and artificial sweetener and sugar, I can actualy taste the natural sugar in things at a much higher rate, making eating healthier taste better than unhealthy food. The patients didn't get Type 1 mind you, they just had the pancreatic issues mirroring Type 1 that the doctor my family member works for believes was their body reacting to the diet. There is not a proven causal link, but the doctor has encountered this and a myriad of other health problems in several different patients on keto. Enough to the point that he doesn't believe it is coincidence, and he has gone so far to recommend his patients try something else. Of course everyone is different, and your body may not react the same way, but you should have you physician check-up on your pancreas just in case.

As a black man and fattie myself this is scary to hear and even scarier to see spreading more through mu community simply because at as a black person you're more likely to have diabetes, heart disease, and high blood pressure which are both linked with being overweight. In December I went to the doctor and I weighed 279 and had an abnormally high blood pressure. Its scary because as people we know what we're eating isn't good because most times you feel bad. This movement is telling to basically ignore what their body is telling them and just do what they want which is gonna lead them to an early grave or into a long term care facility where someone is gonna have to wait for assistance to turn them over when their diaper has to get changed. you should still focus on losing that fat. even just being overweight without being morbidly obese can be an issue. I'm certainly above average weight, at around 120kg at 185cm. I had a work accident where I slipped on an oily metal surface and landed a step further down on my foot. it resulted in permanent damage because the knee couldn't hold my body weight and basically forcefully dislocated. that was July 30th last year and now 5 months in, I still can't walk for any reasonable distance(about a mile, maybe a bit more but it will be painful), I cant knee down, and I can't fully extend or contract it and that damage will, by the doctor's prediction, be permanent. I am 19 now, 20 in May, and I can tell you that it sucks to have the mobility of an elderly man at this age. I am working on losing weight now, but the damage is already done, don't be the same idiot as me, even if you don't do any "dangerous" jobs now, you don't know what the future will hold for you. simple things as slipping on a wet floor can cause you permanent damage at a young age, and the heavier you are, the worse that damage can be.

It's not just their bodies that are lazy, it's their brains too.

Incoming Info Dump:
I recommend, based on my experience in losing weight, the following:
Breakfast: Eggs, pork, two slices of toast, glass of milk, cup of coffee. Proceed to do a morning warm-up. (Refer to calisthenics guides for more details. I recommend military basic training calisthenics)
Workout when fat: 1 mile of walking (add jogging if you're able), lift weights starting from the heaviest you can for a week.
Good luck and remember to take it at your own pace and you'll get there.

What you wrote is something I identified too and I believe it is a major part of why people feel so miserable. people confuse accepting yourself and staying the same as you are and stagnate. One mile is too far for a city person to travel to a huge corporate store. That's what they define as a food desert, one mile from a a big corporate grocery store.
But "manspreading" is just so terrible, huh?
This reminds me of the time I was yelled at for using an instore scooter to shop because a fat woman wanted it. She even tried to chase me and steal my crutches from me.
That's so scary bro what 💀
“…As my body keeps getting bigger, and my dating pool is getting smaller”
I’m a guy whose job gets me plenty of exercise but introduces me to no women, I feel your pain sister
3:26 There’s an ancient proverb in gaming culture, “git gud”
That 'fuck me, you've put in weight' thing is so darn British that I'm actually proud
Dev's baaaaaack! LOVING all these vids brother
Christ, this video made me put the snacks I had on my desk back in my cupboard, and I'm not even fat
same and I wasnt even eating
This vid made me stop eating.
The mental gymnastics to avoid accountability is impressive. And I’m overweight myself. That is MY fault, and it isn’t healthy for me. I’m grateful I’m not obese, but if I became obese, that would DEFINITELY be my fault and would be horrible for me. Wtf is wrong with these people.
I wouldn't call boondocks "woke, lefty" XD
I always have a bit of self esteem issues when it comes to my weight, since I'm a bit overweight.
Then I remember that there's people out there that unironically want to be fat, and are huge as fuck, struggling to live, and I become thankful I'm not as bad as those people lol
you should still focus on losing that fat.
even just being overweight without being morbidly obese can be an issue.
@@yowtfputthemaskbackon9202 Already have been losing weight. Lost 10kg recently :)
@@AnimeFanFTW25 that's nice to hear.
I'm a person of size myself and a Canadian so I can relate 💯 with you Dev except the Asian part but whatever. I am glad we get these videos back and welcome back it's time to flex on these fat positive movements.
I'm your neighbor too then. I'll slap a man with logic if they ever diss my man's merit towards greatness. ;)
Here's your flex, stop being fat....
I honestly don't want to be fat anymore after being expose too this insanity.
Good.
Same. I'm gonna try and count calories to loose weight.
It's been 9 months how's it coming? I just want you to know I believe in you
No, if you're attracted to a sex, you have to be attracted to ALLL of that sex! You can't pick and choose based on surface level qualities because that's phobic!
(being ironic/sarcastic)
I used to be so skinny as a kid that I was bullied and beaten within an inch of my life on two occasions. I’ve been going to the gym for 3 years now, and I have my first bodybuilding competition next year. As a recovering thigga, thank you for your support
All I can think of with these people is patrick complaining "you ate my only source of food, now in going to starve"
I had to bail on this one. Got to the only fans woman and couldn't risk you showing anything.
I *need* my eyes man.
Did you see the post ? I hope to god you did not I am a husk of a human now.
The cream on the cake for me was the KFC ad i got a couple minutes in.
There's these crazy things called "moderation" and "balance" that people need to recognize. There is such a thing as too thin, there is such a thing as too fat, and the ideal body isn't as simple as "thin"; for most people the ideal body is "not likely to get preventable injuries doing normal things"
I respect you for reading the copious amount of bullshit that has been put on to the internet simply to point out why it's dumb. thank you for your service.
These people would constantly be shooting themselves in the feet, if they were actually able to see them.
Oh my god this is a glorious comment
It's very interesting when you consider that around a century ago, *being fat was a sign of privilege,* hence the term *"Fatcat";* all those rich dudes who were wealthy enough to eat all the most succulent meats and cheese while all those poor emaciated workers had barely enough money to afford the rent on their filthy tenement.
Up until the last 50 years gout was called "the rich man's disease" because only the wealthiest people could afford to eat diets rich in red meat red wine and other foods that contain a lot of uric acid which would cause it.
Damn you're pumping these out! Awesome work my guy.
Im a big guy that's currently losing my oppression. I've lost 13 kg so far. Can't wait till my stunning body becomes patriarchal again.
My coworker Big Tony just had a heart attack this morning. Pray for him. He is a younger Gen X than me! Probably weighs 400 lb at 6’. Meanwhile, I am 5’9” 128 lb
5:00 well it does answer the age old George Carlin routine..."How does this woman take a shit? And even more frightening, how does she wipe her ass?"
