I wish so bad that Coors would sponsor Chase Elliott at least one race to see that bright red with Coors slanted down the side like his dad Bill drove in his hay day. That car looked so good and it was so fast. That car was the 212 mph qualifier at Talladega and also the fastest speed ever posted by a nascar ever.

I don’t know if Chase would ever do a beer sponsorship or not. He does Coca Cola, so not sure if they usually like their drivers doing beer sponsorships.
Great to see Bill again, been a fan since the mid 80's. I remember when he was 2 laps down at Talladega and made the laps up without a caution, and before the lucky dog days. Chase is the apple that didn't fall far from the tree for sure.
sam I am, IMHO, Chase will never be an equal caliber as his dad.
@@sergeantmasson3669 I have to disagree .. Chase is much more capable on road courses and short tracks than Bill was. It's early, but Chase, with Hendricks $$$, has the opportunity to do better than dad. I say this with much respect to what Bill and Ernie did.

Its so amazing seeing clint bowyer trying to hold the joy in of standing next to bill elliott, i would too because he was such a great driver and just a wonderful person.

Bill Eliot has been my favorite racer since I was a little boy. I was lucky enough to see one of his 94 McDonald's cars in person. Cool experience

Chase has a long way to go to be a Bill Elliott caliber race car driver or as a person. Not likely that he ever will be.
Chase has a Mustang in his garage it's an open secret.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Chase Elliot fan but to say that he is "better than [Bill] could have ever been" is not quite true. Not yet anyway. Let's face it... if Bill had not tried to run his own race team and had driven for another well funded team, who knows how many more races and championships he would have won.

I was a huge Bill Elliott fan. And so u know,. Back then not every race was on TV. Indy was. But the lil tracks like Bristol and Martinsville we're known as small events and only the bigger high speed tracks were televised. Bill was a high speed racer. It seemed like every race that was on TV he won. He was horrible at Bristol and not very good on Road Courses even though I know he won his 1st at A Road Course but never won another road course again. He was awesome but Chase is unreal. I think your missing my point on the comment was let him race the red Coors Original car. Bill's car was better looking for sure.
He was offered the #28 car for the '95 season I wished he woulda took it then in '96 he woulda had the 88 car possibly 2 more daytona 500's and another championship like Dale Jarrett it's hard to say
