The internet experts have arrived 🤣 Yes I had it floored the whole time No it’s not a 4 port problem Yes i will fix it, I just ran out of time here The motor is still in one piece, there’s no sense in trying to blow it up unsorted the first time out with it. Especially because it doesn’t have a catch pan. Have nothing to prove, just trying to have fun I appreciate everyone for the love and I will continue making videos whenever I work on the car!
A lot of people in the comments here watch too much TV. Acting like cars are perfect straight off the bat for some people. Everyone has hours of test and tune, dial in, even breakage, to get their cars where they need to be. In reality, when someone actually documents the trial and error, it’s shocking to see the inside of perfecting a car.
4 ports ain’t worth the trouble. You can get similar results using a 3 port plumbed a certain way… it it will be a lot less sensitive than the 4 port. I Had a 8 psi spring in mine and had great success ramping to 30psi. I did do about 10 pulls on the street using open loop control with it set at different duty cycles so I could properly map out the map based control. Weather would affect it but it was within a couple psi. I’m up in Wyoming. My 3500lbs car runs 5.8s with a stock 5.3 and a FI 85mm. Haven’t really turned it up at the track yet but I think I got 5.5s in the bag here in the rockys.
@@Metigulous stock bottom end can take a lot more than your boost cut. Turn that shit up. Having it set too tight doesn’t let you even figure out your boost control. And put on a 3 port.
I’m not lying when I say this, when I watch your videos I fall into a state of euphoria… deadass your videos give me the same enjoyment from the old boostedboiz days
Less relateble now but it's understandable you have to keep upgrading and improving not only for yourself but also no one wants to watch the same 3 cars do the same exact times over and over
@@seanharrison6162 yep exactly. I still like their content but it doesn’t feel like goofy teenagers anymore and I guess for a good reason cause they are growing up. But that’s why I like hayden and Pfi’s videos, they still feel the same
Awesome, car looks so dialed. Let Brent or Dr. Tune Em All have at it. You gotta make a full pass hit to see what she does before going home. Dont leave until you hit that 8 or 7! Great job
Like everyone else say stay on it, this is all Hayden built and it will run, just don’t get frustrated and take your time it has been almost two years when I seen you break it all the way down. You are there now it’s just tuning time, you are one of the best fabricators I have ever seen. Maybe let a only tuner give a hand because the 8 rotor is gonna fly
Your friends bustin' your chops just want to see this thing roll out! It's ok that it is offseason so go get it figured out and bring it back for the next season! Excited to see what this can do!
Super happy for you. That thing is going to be a beast once you figure everything out. Must feel awesome to get results after all that work. A little more fine tuning and it will be a certified ripper.
Congrats on finally getting the car on the track. Now it time to set some milestones to get the car much better and getting it consistent. Can’t wait to see it getting faster!
The car looks absolutely stunning going down the track. Glad you didn't give up during all the trials and tribulations of this build. Hope you get it dialed the way you want it when it's home, thank you for sharing. 👍🏽
And that's all we will see for the next year, you'll change a bunch of stuff, forget all the lessons learned and we'll be watching this again next year.
I’ve been following since the suicide crx days and I’m proud of the progression from the days of stock ls1 with hockey puck motor mounts to what you have now keep on killing it bro
I've been waiting since the beginning to see the rx-7 turn into a race car. So glad to see it at the track, You should feel super proud of all you're hard work and dedication!
I know I'll be one of the few and hated on, but stay firm with your process. Take your freaking time and sort shit out right, which is what is sounds like you're trying to do. All the boiz are amped up like you and know you have a killer setup with great potential. Stay the course and get her dialed in first. Once that solid foundation is built, you can go out an really focus on making some killer hits and gaptizing people. Love the video man. Your attention to detail is evident.
Maaaaan those shakes though! (can't blame you lol) I'm obsessed with this car and your attention to detail bro! Excited to eventually see you run it out the back! Seems like you're so close! Keep up the solid work. Good job dude!
Just the fact that it went perfectly straight after all of the major suspension work that you did alone is a testament to how talented you area and how good your workmanship is. Top notch man, seriously.
Heck yeah! Love seeing this in action. Also love seeing you with some help behind the camera. The back and forth conversation as well as the different perspective feels good! 👍👍
Hayden I love the video and it’s so awesome to see the car make passes! But please patch those fire wall holes. It’s amazing how fast when stuff goes wrong how fire can make its way through the smallest holes. Just wanna see you stay safe is all. Love the content keep it up!!!
Ol son. I see that you are a little bit tight with the fight.. Remember that you are not doing this to impress anyone. It's all joy that you can take from yourself. I've been in similar situations with trying to figure things out myself with the advice given and time spent. Enjoy that nobody can ever take memories away from you. Breath and understand that you are going to see something different every time you try this car. It's what makes it a challenge and not everyone is capable to accept that. Good luck and we are happy to support you

4 port is still a PITA. 🤷🏼♂️ Tuning by tenths of a % of duty sucks. Lol
Car is looking good otherwise. Keep grindin
....meanwhile there's 19.857 miles of manifolds, cages, and intake piping back in reality to do. Self employment: thankless since '0000

Cooper and Wyatt immediately chirping Hayden after that 1.38 60’😂 “I could cartwheel off the line quicker”💀
