Thanks for the updated garage gym tour, looks great. 👍 I completely agree about the cold draughts at this time of year in the UK. I am having to pre- heat my garage gym if I wish to workout in the mornings, so I’d certainly benefit from your future video on insulation, helping save time, money and the environment 😃.

Thanks Lee. I’m pretty lucky with the extra stuff. Most of it was gifted by my lovely wife. Except the dumbbells , I had to stump up for those. Look forward to our workout here soon!
I was worried about space in my garage but the fold away rack is a great idea
It really is. It allows you to do all sorts of things with a small space. I’ve got 12 sqm and I can powerlift, jump around, do yoga and more. Couldn’t do that if the rack was fixed.

Which dumbbells do you have?
Musclesquad 32.5kg adjustable and their neoprene 5 and 7kg.
How long did it take you to build the rack? Did you do it alone?
Hi! I think it took about 5 hours with my wife. We did it across an evening and a morning. The tools it came with were useful but we also had a socket set and rubber mallet to make a few bits easier.
@@thegaragegymgeek2210 wow that's a full day! I'm looking at this one or the Smith machine one but this looks more affordable. Do you ever move it around to hoover under it?
Did you go against taping up the joint in the floor mats?
@@justintemp it sure is. I hoover around it but never move it. My floor is rubber tiles so no need to tape the seams.

The price of everything has gone up so much. This rack was half the price at one point 🤣

Do you get many spiders in the garage?
Not really. When I built it I gutted it, hoovered every inch. There are a few at the end near the door that I leave alone but haven’t seen any in the gym end.
