  • Tom and Jesse beat up a bunch of Orvis PRO Waterproof Packs & Bags by dragging them behind a truck on a gravel road. Will they still be waterproof? You'll have to watch the video to find out. You'll also get some tips on how to choose the correct waterproof bag for your needs. Do you need a waist pack, sling bag, or backpack? Or would you be better off with a boat bag. Jesse Haller walks you through the benefits of each style.

Orvis makes the best packs in fly fishing. 2 things I’d love to see: 1.) waterproof backpack with the zipper going way down so it can open up easier. 2.) the Chest pack attachment to also be water proof

If possible, I think Tom had too much fun doing this one

That zipper is probably the best thing on those waders. Boots and waders have materials that like to wear out easy and soles that fall off

Only thing I don’t like about the new Orvis waterproof sling bag is that it suited for right handed casters not lefties like there old style.

Well, considering 85 to 90% of the world is right-handed. It was a smart move on their part. I liked how the previous model looked. Hated the fact it was on my casting arm.

Pulling a bag full of plastic air bags proves nothing. Fill them with 25lbs of bricks and do this.
Kelly did with it's white cloud pack.

There is NOTHING in the bags so it was like a ballon bouncing behind the car.
The bag is not the proof it is the seal. for a 2 sec dunking any bag will survive a dunking it is being in water for a few hours.
I have found the zippers on the orvis bags to be REALLY hard to open. and then the zipper opening is very restrictive to access the contents.
