I have k22, 33, 35, 44, 55, 61, 65, 71, 75 and 81…..all need some TLC…..I will gladly lend them for video tutorials…..and you doing the belts….obviously :)
I ve got 2 pieces frpm this, and also a tck-61 .Everything is fine that sounds good, I ve made mechanical problems expect the hum of the Bsl motor.when the monitor switch is on record, theres no hum, on tape the little hum could hear when the amifier on maximum output.All the 3 decks makes like this
At the moment I have brought Sony TA-AX5 Amp there is the option for 2 tape decks for tape 1 I think I should have Sony TC-FX5 or 6 for tape 2 I intend to have Sony TC-K71 will it be ok. How can I buy these deck in original condition. If you have link can you send it.
Thé K71 is a good deck but look for the K75 or K81 if you get the chance. The K55, K61 and K65 are basic 2 head decks but as a last option definitely worth a look

Sony TC-K71 Cassette Deck. Brand New! Unboxing!

Sony has excellent service manuals that would've saved you a lot of time. Also, make sure to use JIS screwdrivers.
