In FMJ we see the squad firing like crazy as soon as they hear enemy fire, but in the end they only kill one girl sniper.
That may be true but those 10,000 rounds weren’t all meant to be kills. Vietnam was the first war the us entered with fully automatic rifles for a vast majority of infantry. The biggest combat benefit of a belt fed or high capacity automatic rifle is for suppressive fire, mag dumping an m16 isn’t accurate for shit that’s the worst possible way to use ammo so they made use of it by firing thousands of rounds downrange while they made their advance. Animal Mother- Sometime's HE THINKS HE'S JOHN WAYNE!
Animal Mother was the definition of "Built Different"
The belt is longer after he stops shooting.
I still find it amazing this was all filmed in the UK. East London, Norfolk and Lincolnshire.
A classic moment both of Brotherhood and madness
I love it! Should put the silent, dramatic sniper scene in it, too.
