Spot on with the Eppy 2. I purchased a cab of 25 in Havana in February 2019 with a box date of ARS November 2018. They were young and bitter at first so I laid them down. I picked them up recently and they are a different cigar with great flavors. I was able to hit some with salt/oil on a couple that were just fantastic. I wish I put them away for a couple years before I even opened the box. Good review. Thanks.
Hi Paul, Loving your reviews - they’re honest and to the point. I totally agree in terms of the 50 cabs and would love to invest in them but I’m struggling with storage... I know it’s slightly off topic but I can see what looks like your humidor behind you and wondered what make it is and whether you recommend it? It seems to be quite quiet (certainly can’t hear it...) and I’m at a stage that I’m looking to buy something bigger than what I’ve got... (and to conglomerate the multiple tuperdors I’ve got hidden away from the Mrs 😀)
thank you for the good comments nick. its a unbranded humidor and what you can see is only part of it...the reason its silent is because i never switch them on ..there is no need to in england ..plus i never worry about temprature as long as my humidity is around 62-65 % i am happy i use heartfelt beads to humifify which brilliant and always keep me where i want to be they are self regulating which add or subtract moisture when needed.

Solid choice. I’m with you on 50 cabs and lighter fluid. Not sure if I buy the sugar beet explanation, but it’s an interesting theory.
