- It's not easy, it's not for everyone, but it's a life she's proud to live. Amy Richardson is a Vermont dairy farmer. Inspired by the fact she's feeding people, Amy chose to raise her family while continuing to work on the farm. For five generations, the Richardson Family Farm has been working the rolling hills of Hartland, diversifying over the years to operate several farming enterprises like maple and split rail fencing. Amy helps manage a herd of Jersey cows producing some of Vermont’s highest-quality milk for Cabot Creamery Co-operative's award-winning cheese. I was raised on a farm actually farmed myself. My girl is a city girl and I told her she better get used to it. Because this is where her food comes from. Milk butter cheese and meat
Excellent life story
This video just popped up. My father grew up on a general type farm in Erie County, PA. Included were 15 head of red durham (I believe that was the breed) milk cows. However, he opted for college and worked his way through Penn State graduating with an EE degree. I once asked why he didn't remain on the farm and he replied "Too much work."
Good work

Don't miss milking twice a day,, we run a beef farm now, have done for 20 years,, we did dairy for 50 odd years,, Beef farming showed us how much time we actually devoted to milking twice a day,, Crazy... Really Really great video tho...

I need guidance how to import jersy calf's from your country.excellent job.
This is another example that you dont have to be huge to put out a good product. My uncle who is now retired milked about 60 cows himself and also raised his own replacements, and he had a AA on his milk
Magnonimous lady
Well Done, I can see you are doing a good job at what you are doing, family farms have their place too, we are all getting tired of the factory farms with 10 robots milking and the farmer glued to screens like a zombie
Hi how are you . u done amazing work

Nice👍
Think what you do is Awesome
Enjoy the grounding of it
You liked cows
It's refreshing to see a small farm. They're an endangered species. Hail from Grand Isle County, VT!
There are not to many of us left and a great need for more committed people to feeding Americans needs of quality food that as not so many substate flavoring and lack of nutrients needed for a healthy life let us all give thanks
Красота!
We used to live in Cambridge VT.
Waths about the calfs?

We need agriculture more than Internet computer gadjets etc
