Awesome! How would you say this comopares to the Comanche ? I've been flying A2A exclusively since July because evreything else feels trash now. Is this Twin Star an exception? I heard it uses the default MSFS flight model...

Thank you. Right now the A2A Comanche is the king of GA in msfs. However, imo the DA42-VI comes second slight below the A2A.
      The sounds are fantastic
the external texturing fantastic as well and the same can be said for the inside texturing as well
external and internal lighting are top notch
I know more about airliners FM than GA but i've been flying GA on msfs for months now because you can really do VFR procedure in msfs. But even if it uses the native MSFS FM, i'm sure they have tweaked it to match the data values. I know that all the devs are DA42 pilots and that it has been tested by several DA42 pilot. Fuel consumption seems spot on. TAS cruise speed as well, its within 1-3kt from foreflight values. The ground effect seems very realistic for once, you don't float other the runway like other GA addons : TBM 850, FSReborn M500... so that thells me that the MSFS FM has been adjusted/tweaked. The only thing missing to be on par with the A2A is the wear and tear features + maintenance.
Also bear in mind that itsd not the same price: in my country, the A2A is 56e whereas the DA42 is 33e. Hope it answers your questions

@@CMBelite-FR That's good news about the FM, thanks! I might have to give it a try. I gotta admit seeing the prop spinner and the engines all the time while still having good visibility is pretty cool.
A2A are a little late with their 2nd MSFS plane too. I've been waiting for their Aerostar but this Da42, especially at around $30, seems like a pretty good alternative. Also, I'm not too familiar with the dev studio COWS but it looks like they know what they're doing and that they're after realism and focus on hardcore simmers. Might be worth buying the Da42 to support them and, hopefully, get more, even better aircraft from COWS in the future. A2A can only pump out 2, max 3 aircraft a year, according to Scott the owner, so we really need another GA dev studio to, if not match, then at least come close to A2A.

@@davidtsw I don't think that A2A are developping the aerostar anymore maybe another aircraft ? COWS studio are very new, i think it's their first product ?

@@CMBelite-FR Camille, the Aerostar they were basing the model on was destroyed, so no.
