I recently came across your RUclips video discussing the roadmap to becoming a data engineer. I found it incredibly insightful and inspiring, and it motivated me to take the first steps toward a career in data engineering. I am from a non-technical background and currently have no prior knowledge of programming languages. I am interested in purchasing your Python and SQL courses to begin my learning journey. However, I noticed that you suggest learning foundational concepts, such as those covered in the CS50 classes, before starting your courses. Could you please clarify whether it is mandatory to complete those classes first, or if a complete beginner like me can directly start with your courses? I want to ensure I follow the right approach to make the most of the learning experience.
It's good to have basic CS50 knowledge that takes hardly 1 week and then my courses will help you from that point. I teach everything from basic so you can directly jump to my courses too!
Excellent content! This video has just inspired me to become a freelance data engineer. Freelance is for me👍 PS: All your courses are great. Please bring the Kafka course soon.
Really good one and much needed, thanks Darshil! Also, I'm almost done with the SQL and Python courses of yours which I bought last year separately. I see you have new courses now as combo. How can I buy the new combo excluding this Python and SQL courses and get a better price?
Can u clear one thing, im currently working as windows application developer using VB NET and MS SQL for long years with this old tech. I need a career transition demanding fields, so i have planned to move towards to Data engineering with Cloud. And recently i got my interest towards AI, some says without ML can pursue Gen AI, Agentic AI jobs.. What’s ur view on that? someone like me which is better career transition??
@@kshitijbhalerao7887congratulations 🎉, happy for you. I would appreciate it if you can tell me the freelancing platform, I'm trying on Upwork but getting the results 😢
@ There is no stability in jobs, either, these days. All companies are laying off. Freelancing is best because you can have 5-10 clients at one point and build your amazing career. I have bought a house in Mumbai with my freelance income, I could never do that with the ob. Come out of your complaining mindset and start working. You'll see results.
