This tutorial is amazing!!!I madde a purple and blue striped basket with a blue flower and it looks really cute thanks to ur video!!!I wish I could attach a picture!!
I do so love all your patterns, they always work. Your clarity of instruction is streets ahead of anyone else's.Dear WW could you do this pattern for baby nesting/stacking boxes, their isn't a video online for these and I know you would do them so well.
I note that the tutor is english but is using american crochet terminology. The term 'single crochet' does not exist in UK patterns - the stitch is referred to as 'double crochet'. I thought I had better mention this to avoid confusion when reading patterns in the future.
Thank you so much for making this work so easy for the beginners. Your work and the way you teach is worth appreciating. Can we have lids too for these mini-baskets?!😊
when I got to the top, I crocheted along the outside stitch only, two loop through stitches, then three chains, then two loop through, and so on. Gave a ruffled appearance to the top edge. Just for fun. It would be cute to sew a bead in between each "ruffle", also.
What is "aran" weight on cotton yarn. Would it be called something else in the U.S.? I bought two different ones....One is Aunt Lydia's crochet thread size 3 and very fine. The other is Peaches & Creme net weight 2.5. They are both cotton. Any assistance would be appreciated. I watched many videos of crocheting in the round and YOURS was by far the best and easiest to follow. Thank you and look forward to hearing back. :)
Hi +Barbara Hellebrand , I am not sure what it would be called but you would usually use a 4mm crochet hook with aran yarn. I recommended using this weight yarn and a 2.5mm hook to make the baskets thicker and more sturdy. I would recommend using the thicker of the yarns that you bought with a 2.5mm hook. I hope this helps, thank you very much for watching x
Hello! I'm in the middle of making the pink baby cardigan, but now I can't find the video anymore, so I have no idea how I'm going to finish it! It would be lovely if you could help me in some way.
I don't understand how the rounds of singles become a wall for the basket. Love the pattern I know I am missing something. To me it would be just a flat round of singles .
Yvonne Weast hi! If you notice for the flat bottom of the bowl, you are increasing by crocheting two stitches into each of the the stitches from the the previous round which allows it to remain flat as the diameter of the circle increases. When you only crochet one stitch in each of the previous round stitches it will start curving upwards because you are not increasing your number of stitches, but the diameter is increasing, so it pulls the circle into a bowl shape. I hope I explained that in an understandable way(?) 😳😄 p.s. you can also decrease your number of stitches in last round to pull the rim in a little tighter.
Hi there, I have a request & I ll be forever grateful. There's a pattern on Nikki Trench's book: Cute and easy crochet with flowers. It's called ''Vintage-style vase coaster. P:110. The pattern is confusing me esp round 4 :'( if u happen to have the book. Would u pls consider making a tutorial to make it?! If u dont, can I send u the pattern online?! Txxxxxxx
Hi +Alisan80001, I am really sorry but I am only able to create tutorials for my own patterns due to copyright issues. I hope you are able to figure out the pattern. Thank you for watching and supporting my channel x

Nice idea i did that and it looked cute
I love this. how do I make the round flat piece into a basket shape?
single crochet in each single crochet and eventually it will build up
Thank you very much I like the way you explain :)
+Nabila Ezzyn thank you! x
Great tutorial, thank you! I noticed in the video you use a 3.5mm crochet hook but you have listed 2.5mm in the video description :)
Wait .. I’m confused - how did it skip straight to the bowl? So, just keep going ‘round and it will magically start taking the shape of a bowl then?
i realize I am kinda randomly asking but does anybody know of a good place to stream newly released movies online ?
@Daxton Lukas I watch on Flixzone. Just google for it :)
@Daxton Lukas i use flixzone. You can find it by googling :)
@Zev Allen, you really just copied @Ryan William's comment
I miss you! I hope you come back one day!
I’m thinking of making a lid for these. Any ideas how?

What is the finished diameter of this container? I am looking to crochet one just big enough to hold a set of crochet coasters.
Hi +Lorraine Flynn these mini containers are pretty small - around a 5inch diameter. I hope this helps, thank you for watching x
