Awesome show! As for Taysom Hill, they wouldn’t save hardly any money this year but would get out of a $10M void year charge next year so they’d still save $10M by cutting Taysom Hill. That’ll probably happen and I think the hawks would be smart to sign him for a few million.
Where can we pre-order Dane’s 2025 guide? By the way love your show and have been a draft nut since the mid eighties and been a Seahawks fan from 1977.keep it up enjoy the comments and your thoughts. From Wenatchee Washington but residing in Wichita Kansas the last 17 years still love my Seattle teams and will never wear any other team colors!
Brian thank you for the constant coverage and I loved the guests coming on. I do have a bit of a different take on the QB's. Although there are mixed reviews I can't help but shake the idea of recency bias. Some execs are calling last years class the greatest QB draft since the 1983 class. I will agree this class is drastically worse than last years but I mean we have guys like Christian Ponder, Zach Wilson, Daniel Jones, even Anthony Richardson going insanely high and that is to name a few. I think if guys like Dart go high it's really not going to be that big of a shocker to me. I see no issue with taking someone like Howard, Ewers (who I personally don't want but Schneider seems to have an affinity for) or even McCord in the middle rounds and just seeing what you got there. Idk I just think too many scouts are so insanely blown away by last years class that there are some perceptions that this is just a crop of QB's that can't ever succeed and I just completely reject the idea. Are they blowing away anyone? No. Does that mean that they are all undraftable grades, no I think a couple of these QB's could shock us in the long run. Too much comparison to last year is clouding judgement.
I like Geno and think he will be back. But if Pete and the Raiders offered the 37th pick for him, and maybe like a 3rd or 4th next year, I think it would be hard to turn down… Interesting to see what everyone thinks about that
I like the thought of Joe Milton coming aboard with us. S. Howell just hasn't done it for me. I know Sammy was thrown in with the wolves, but he's got to do and be better than his performance last season. 💯🎯✅️
Pump the brakes on Milton in the game vs Buffalo he played against backups and the team didn’t care if they won their focus was on the upcoming playoffs I like both Geno and Howell in Kubiaks offense to look much better
@SeahawkAz naw my dude. I let of my brakes during Milton's draft day. I wanted him bad! He's has teachable raw talent with mobility and a frikin canon for an arm. I didn't even know he started in a game until the highlights came out.
Christian Haynes after going from Uconn to the NFL, his offseason this year is the first time with good caliber training and training table. He will be just fine. and frankly his limited time playing compared to laumea, he looked better than laumea imo. Something more was there, I think Mike didn't like work ethic or something. Also, they were good with gap scheme against the cardinals and then didn't go to it much more after. Grubb was awful. Look at the testing too. Lucas outperformed Cross in many of them. If Lucas played LT in college he would've been drafted hight than Cross
Geno just is the same Geno. Not the one to get us going. He had his fame, especially with INTs. Trade him for picks. Resign howell cheap, start QB J. Hall. Draft in 3rd round a QB. Or later....
The position group that so many other positions depend on and we're not going to spend. GREAT

Hope you are feeling a lot better, B! 👊🏽💯

Thank you for an epically info-packed draft-centric episode, Hawk Blogger! Thank you @OldSchoolSeahawk (my Bobro/hero) for helping to get Dane on!
You’re welcome, and ditto on OSS!
Great show!
Thanks!
Great show Brian.
Appreciate you watching!
Algo boost!
Brian, you don't think Pete would pay Geno that kind of money? 🤔
I wish this man had a channel called Mariner Blogger as well 😅
It would just be me yelling at ownership

John Benton was a Alex Gibbs protege
March 16 is the big day for the Geno decision
Milton to Seattle
Kelvin Banks sounds like a better zone blocking guy than Booker. True?

You can't figure out why Geno can't shake his shadow? How many game changing int's did he throw last year? Seriously?
