Look into the magnetic child locks. They stick on to the inside and then you use a magnet to open from the outside. They have a small switch on them so you can “turn off” the locking mechanism for periods of time. I hate childproofing stuff but we have one of those on a specific cabinet and it works great.
A medicine chest is a life saver for small bathrooms. It's a great place to store toothpaste, deodorant, and skin care. So are shelves above the toilet. I put up three shelves and store my makeup and nail polishes in decorative boxes along with a couple of decor pieces. My electric toothbrush sits on the counter, too, because it's too tall for the medicine chest. I do have it in a decorative toothbrush holder though so it's in no danger of falling over. I also tuck it in the corner by the side wall. Just a couple of suggestions that might help.
One thing that might help if you have a downstairs laundry is a laundry shoot. They aren’t that tricky to install if you have a good place. Just a thought! ❤️😊
I'm enjoying your bathroom series. Great job in the declutter; I had a basket in the pantry, which I haven't used in 4 years. I kept it because it is white and fits the space. Told myself reasons to keep it. Today, I was strong; reminding myself it can go with no guilt. I remember in your California house doing a kitchen declutter and telling us not to feel guilty ❤
The toothbrushes look great where they are. An idea is a toothbrush holder with sanction cups that can attach on the wall - I'm not sure how sturdy they are
A suggestion about toothbrushes. When the toilet is flushed, germs spew up and out into the surrounding area. Put them away or cover somehow. Love your videos, and envy your energy!
I just found your channel & have been watching since you left CA. I purchased Blueland toilet bowl cleaner tablets a whi,e back & have not been pleased with them. Is there a secret i don't know about? They weren't cheap & i did want to like them. Love your new bathroom & all the work you both have done! Can't wait to see your other projects. We have been in our house 35 yrs, come July. I'm looking for some new decorating ideas & maybe some renovations in a few rooms.
Allison, try using a rubber band around the knobs, keep twisted it til she just can’t figure out how to get it off to get into the cabinet 😉 that’s what we used to do:)
Hey Allison,🖐 Good afternoon! Great Video as Always, Love them❤x5 I purchased this from Amazon for our small and only bathroom vanity ( iDesign Spa Plastic Storage Shower Basket with Handle for Bathroom, Health, Cosmetics, Hair Supplies and Beauty Products - 5.3" x 8.8" x 6.9" - Black ) Our toothbrushes need to be near the closes outlet, also sit on top of their recharging devices while sitting in this particular basket including the bottle of soap. Keeps the counter neat and tidy and nothing falling off the edge. Hope this Helps give you ideas and inspiration, btw they come in many colors to choose from. Take Care,💛x5 seeyainthenextone tammy/tim
Yeah having toothbrushes out on the counter is kinda gross. Consider buying Steripods to cover the brush parts, and just store them laying down in the drawer.

Move toothbrushes to the other side of sink. Apparently small invisible droplets can float during flushing.
Oh gosh, I absolutely love it!! Great job y'all!

Great job decluttering and organizing!
Shallow plastic bins would work well in the drawer for your toothbrushes. (To lay them in)

Good morning! Put rubber bands on your bathroom cabinet. It can barely be seen.
