Hi Dan, thank you, this is a very good video. But i would like to know if you recomend to remove the brake shoes or the rollerbearing? Thanks in advance!
i have 2 bicycles with nexus 8 , one is without brake and one is with brake, one with brake has empty space when i turn pedal, the one without brake starts to turn at any position, if i delete brake will i get absolutely same hub as my nexus 8 without brakes or will the empty space remain ?
Exactly what I needed, the far better option than removing the coaster ring.
Nice vid! very helpful

Thank you for such a great video, but I would like to know if this also works on the 3-speed Nexus?
Does trek sell a free wheel kit for the precaliber 20? Or just the axel would be cool 😀

They sell an adapter which transforms coaster into disc. There £50 each on eBay
Why not from the start?i don't know how to begin.
Had the same thought but I guess there are other videos on youtube covering dissassembly
Because this video is just about the coaster brake part of the hub; how it works and how to de engage it.
