FYI. Just purchased the pattern using the first link provided and it's different from what is shown on the video. Didn't notice it until after the purchase. Either way, the pattern is very useful and will suit just fine. Thank you for the pattern and the video!
I absolutely love your patterns. You have created something that is necessary into something that is just plain fun for me. For this, I think you from the bottom of my heart.
Your voice is great for videos lol just saying .. thanks a bunch for sharing I would like to teach my daughter to sew her own pads and this will definitely help us
Great video! I will have to look at some of your patterns and find one that will work for me! I am very new to the idea of cloth menstrual pads but am gathering supplies to make my own!
Very helpful video. I am shopping for a pattern on Etsy and saw that your listings had a link to a tutorial. I am going to purchase your pattern hopefully by the weekend and get started on making my first reusable!
Excellent tutorial, I would like to learn but need help with ordering supplies. I understand that you order from Amazon, can you kindly share the materials you ordered so I can get started. I also need the snaps set. Thank you.
Thanks ever so much #Versodile for making this video, along with the other's..Their Extremely helpful for beginner sewists who are Hoping to make their own cloth-pad stash for themselves and their 3 daughter's.. :-)
I want to put reusable pads in Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. What size core and pad would you recommend for 10- to 14-year old girls? Is 10" about right?
I am new at making these, but does it not make more sense to have the flannel/fleece being the topper, and the cotton design being the outside? using a dark brown flannel against the skin would be better for stains
Wow, nifty technique. I just improved my sewing exponentially with this! What size rotary cutter do you use & how do you not take slivers off the edge of your core pattern? I always seem to nic it a little. Also, what fabric marker is that? The one I have is such a fine point I have to copy the line over several times.
I think the blade is 28mm? It's common that I take some slivers off, but I like the speed of just cutting around a template. I'd rather make a new template every once and a while than trace and cut on the line. I got the marker such a long time ago that I don't remember where I got it, but possibly from Amazon.
Hello! I just ordered your cloth pad pattern and I am kind of confused how to use it, could you make another video? or is there another video that I can reference. It's the Serged pattern.
Probably a silly question but does the wider rounded part of the pad sit at the front and the narrower end towards the rear/bottom or the opposite. I am about to buy materials to make my 1st pad and I am looking for a pattern. Great video I like that you speed it up to get a quick idea of the process. Cheers Melissa
When it's 400 or 500 gsm, 2 layers is considered a heavy pad. I wouldn't use 3 layers because it would be hard to sew and would take forever to dry. If you need more absorbency than 2 layers of bamboo fleece, I would recommend adding a few layers of flannel.
Question: why are you using a flat woven rather than a flannel? Is there advantage to a flat rather than a fuzzy? I have made my own pads for 17 years before they were a thing and flannel was always my go to. I'm updating my skills on techniques and materials since they have seemed to change so much over the years. Thanks for your time. Also perhaps you can tell me why women are preferring a single use and toss rather than a customizable top layer insert like the old Luna Pads design? Also I like to bleach my pads periodically but the bamboo fleece says no bleach. I have always used the 100%cotton batting because all the new fancy core materials weren't around then. Sorry for all the questions here but I dont do Facebook if you have a group where these questions are posted.

Thanks for clarifying that😃
Thanks this was well informed
Is the core PUL or something like Zorb?
Hi, do you have a full measurement ot the pattern that you draw in the pattern paper? Teach us how we make a exact measurement of the pattern?! Please

You make great videos!!
My type of video, loved it!
Which end goes to the front? The narrow end or wide?
Hello! I just ordered your cloth pad pattern and I am kind of confused how to use it, could you make another video? or is there another video that I can reference. It's the Serged pattern.
Do you need more info for assembling the pattern or constructing the pad?
Can you tell me what sewing machine you are using?
I have a question. Why pinking shears, specifically? Thank you
what part of the bamboo fleece do you put facing you, the smooth part or the fury part? Thanks

The wider part is there you bleed the most :) Could have been the other way around!
What did u use fir the core ? That pad u made was for light days or heavy days ??
Nice pattern and video, what brand snap pliers are you using? Thanks
Ieva Alvidovna I use KAM snaps and press :)
What about the nylon instead of bamboo terry??
What is the tool you used for the snaps?
great! is this for normal regular flow??
Yes, I use one layer of 500gsm bamboo terry/fleece as a moderate/regular pad :)
Can you tell me where you found your Windpro fleece fabric? I'm trying to find a place to purchase online and I am not having any luck. Thanks

Wow thank you so much for such a quick reply and for the link. :)
Buying your round pattern on etsy now. Can’t wait to try it. 😊
how many layers of bamboo fleece or Terry would I use for a heavy and extra heavy

I tend to consider flannel good for the topper and core whole fleece to be good for the back. I stand to be corrected.
on spoonflower I looked for the 10in panel with all the fish and cats but I couldn't find it
I'm a little behind on getting panel options up, but I am still working on it!
El color mostaza que tela es y el oscuro
Are they reusable ?
Yes! You can wash them after using and then reuse when it's dried.
