Hey Brad! We have just witnessed an epic performance of a Bruno Mars greatest hits medley! Morissette is just on another level, unparalleled, par excellence! She has the beautiful voice, the versatility that she can sing any genre, pop, R&B, funky, soul, and she can flawlessly transition from one to another, and she has that charisma that captivates us in all her performances, this particular one as a good example. She is exuding joy, confidence and energy! Shout out to the 3rd Avenue band as well, world-class musicality, and to Adonis Tabanda who did an incredible arrangement, a masterpiece of work, the transitions between songs are so smooth, and it kept us in anticipation and surprise, as to which song comes next, it's like opening and looking through a box of chocolates! And all the songs are beautiful and meticulously chosen and well executed, by the band and especially Mori.🥰
And, like you, we are also wishing and hoping that Bruno Mars himself will get to watch this performance! Did you know that this was released on October 8, Bruno Mars' birthday! They really are tremendous musicians. If you do any traveling in Asia, you'll find that every bar or club you go to has amazing musicians. You're talking about people with the same access to RUclips (for song breakdowns, theory conversations and lessons) and many have no prospects outside of being a musician so they put in A LOT of practice time. It's a completely different world than here where you work 40-50 hours, date, have a social life, and then try to practice in whatever time is left over. I was in Thailand for a week and the bands they had in the bar we went to each night were ridiculous! I saw them play Queen, Earth Wind & Fire, Toto, Metallica, Van Halen, current pop/R&B hits, and a bunch of stuff popular from Asian artists. The versatility is off the charts.
