Thank you for posting this video! It was exactly what I was looking for in terms of protecting quality gear. Will you please do videos on the behind the scenes of your production videos like tutorials please! 😁
A sticking wheel made me think baggage handlers did something as well; one of the wheels started sticking during the first trip after I arrived in Paris. Then an officer asked if the screw he was holding was mine as I put the case in oversized on a train to London. I looked at the case and the wheel was gone. We searched and found the wheel had fallen between the tracks and the platform at the Paris Eurostar station. Very lucky I found it. I did not want to be forcing the big, lame case around London.
Thanks for making this video, it was very helpful. I have a few questions: 1. What's the name of the short C-Stands that you use with the Kupo Baby Arm? 0:44 2. I've heard about some airlines flat out refusing to take oversized baggage, not even charging fees, just refusing. Have you had this issue before?
Glad you found the video helpful :) 1) Kupo 20" C-Stand Riser Column with a removable turtle base (you should be able to buy those as a package or separate) 2) We once had to buy a disgustingly overpriced suitcase to redistribute items after traveling with no issues with same equipment on other airlines. I think the offending airline was with Air Canada if I remember right.
@@colebennett1828 Thanks for your response. 1) How have the Kupo stands held up? I've heard some bad things about Kupo C-Stands so I'm looking at the Matthews Turtle Base too. 2) That's crazy, I think it's best to stick with luggage that's not oversized then.
@maxiixam20 - I can’t remember the brand of the C-stand columns-I think it was just the risers that are Kupo. But we use Avenger C-Stands for our full sized stands and they’ve been great.
Hello, great review! Was wondering would you be able to share which c-stand model you use that appears at 2:14 and fits diagonally into the box? If so, much appreciated, thanks!
Love my Nanuk cases...I have a couple 935's but I'm looking into upgrading to 965's as I am running out of room! :)
Very nice and informative video. Makes me love the Nanuk 965.
Thanks! They're great cases :)
Thanks for this video. Good to hear from a fellow Torontonian.
Thanks, Vasko! We’re north of Toronto, but not too far 😊
Great video, very informative and helpful...makes me want to drop everything and travel the world with a Nanuk 965 hard case.
Thanks! If you don’t have so much gear, their smaller cases are great too 😊

Thanks 😊 I’m glad you enjoyed the video. What sort of behind the scenes videos of production would you find helpful?
Great vocal recording. Background music was too loud though. Team nanuk!!

Yeah, it’s worth checking those bolts once in a while. It really does turn the system into a big, rugged box. Haha

The C-stands are the Kupo 20" C-Stand Riser Column, used with a standard C-Stand turtle base
@@colebennett1828 Thank you! That's very useful to know.
the background music is very distracting. Less volume would be appreciated
