I’m using this P30Huawei..now.change..switch from iPhone user for the past 10 years..just to support Huawei..since Americans banned this phone and Huawei 5G across the world..and wow way better then iPhone..
2022 still rocking my p30 with EMUI 12. Still performing looking as fresh as ever.
This color is Aurora, not breathing crystal. 😂 I got the breathing crystal one
I also got p30 in breathing crystal and i am so happy with this phone. The size and feel of this phone is amazing more better than s9 and s10.
@@dr.qaziabdulbasit1490 Yeah that's one of the main reasons I picked it over the Pro version

i got the P30 recently for 4000 nok or 345 pund. And i have no regrets, this phone is the best for the price.
@SL yes
love my p30. picked one up stupid cheap when everyone got scared earlier in the year because of the google ban lol
Lol same
same, what did you get yours for , I got it for 280 quid
@@user-mc5xr9ku6x that's awesome. I got mine for $600 aud. (We get fucked hard over here)

@@theslk28 yes the audio is fine
Yayy another P30 video. I've use this handset since July, very good battery life two days in between charging with just under 5 hour screen time. Only gripe I have is the notifications - not consistent!! Otherwise great design and fun to use phone. Anyone in North America has the email 10 update?
5 hours sot?! What have you been doing, gaming? Mine lasts 5 hours.... To half way
@@user-mc5xr9ku6x yes 5 hr sot. I don't play games but it is 2 days between charge.
I've had no issues with notifications on mine... Maybe you need to check your locksceen settings
I have a p30 and I can say this phone is criminally underrated
do you still get updates? I want to buy this phone and I'm wondering about it
@@SETH5641 thanks for quick response, I will get it in 2 days, can't wait😊
Mine comes tomorrow. Ordered the Aurora for 369€. I think it's a great deal. Had the Op7t before but sent it back because it was way too big. Phones are getting too big these days, P30 is one of the few compact phones available.
Same here long time not decided between p30 and OP7 t Finally i got it p30 has better battery life and photos dont mention compact design
This phone is a stunner... 9/10. Battery is by far the best feature... Always get 8-9 hours sot and has super fast charge too... Perfect for one hand use... Screen is great... Almost perfect phone
Been using the p30 since may this year and it is brilliant.
do you have any difficulties with snapchat ? i already have a huawei but snap doesnt work so well, its slow and blurry .
@@linahussain8818 I don't use snap chat, I haven't experienced any slowdowns at all.
Only issue I have had was trying to get wine to work on it
@@VikingGekz i see , thanks alot 👍👍
@@VikingGekz does it have any screen burn like th S9 , and is it resistant to drops
@@reallyricstv6811 i havent experienced any issues like that, and i dont think this is water proof, ive dropped it a few times but only in a case and its been fine so far. I even keyed the screen protector by accident and it is fine
The extra money ull spend on the pro version isnt even anything but the luxury. For example:
1. 50x zoom on pro, and 30x zoom on p30. Who needs 50x zoom on a daily basis anyway? 😂 I rarelt even use the 30x zoom lol
2. Taller and Curved screen on pro, which only depends on people's preference. I prefer flat tho.
3. Larger battery? Which is kinda fooling. Taller and curved screen of Pro consumes more battery so the Pro version is right on having larger battery. When day to day basis, there would be not much of a difference on battery consumption between the pro and p30.
4. Pro can wirelessly charge. Well, another people's preference. Not all can maintain everyday wireless charge tho. I have a workmate who bought the Pro one and still uses its wired charge 😂 so its not much of a big loss for me tho. Unless you're a person who constantly use wireless charging pad anytime anywhere. Plus wired charger still is faster so..
5. IP 68 on Pro and IP 5?? (i forgot on p30 lol) is conplete hoax. I researched the meaning of it but i forgot lol. I just remembered that whether its 68 or 5?? Company still dont advise to splash or submerge it in water. Would you be comfy splashing or submerging your phone on water just because you buy an IP68 phone? Nah i doubt. People still wont. So its kinda useless. Plus i have read reviews that their P30 Pro dysfunction for a moment after accidentally submerging on water lol
And etc.. The point is, all of these additinal features arent even that highly significant, its more on luxurious features . P30 wont be less of a flagship just because of not having those luxury features. The regular p30 and p30 Pro both have the same chipset and overall, aside from what i mentioned above. These are just all things i consider before i bought p30. Plus it still has headphone jack which is rare on a flagship device, Pro dont have. And p30 is compact and right size enough to be comfortable for a small hand like me. So people who bought the regular p30 isnt a loss, unless you want the luxurious feautures you wont even get to use on daily basis 🤔
Just sharing tho 😁
It is still so smooth and fluid. Unbelievable the number of reviewers that let this pass just cuz of the Huawei-Google issue.
What Google issue?? I'm looking to upgrade from my Google pixel 2 and looking at this phone. Will I be disappointed ??
@@steffmarles2511 Hey, Steff. The software support from Android is only going to go downwards from here, considering the China-USA equation.
Also, if you're getting a new device, it very well won't have the Google Mobile Services. It is going to have the Huawei Mobile Service, wherein you'll have to side load Google apps and all apps that aren't available on Huawei App Gallery.
If you're fine with all that, please go ahead. Huawei is a brilliant phone.
@@akhilreghunath3033 I'm in the UK and looking to upgrade as my battery keeps getting super hot

I brought my Huawei Y9 mate in 2019, it was supposed to be my travel phone and last 6 months or a year. I loved it so much I had it 4 years. I only just changed to a P30 lite, tbh it is also a really good phone but the Y9 gives it a run for its money
I love my p30.. Would really struggle to buy anything else now. Huawei need to keep the google apps tho
Great review! In fact we have just uploaded the review for the 2020 P30 Pro New Edition - exciting device that is!

I just got this phone last week it's amazing
Excellent review, thanks. I went from a Honor View 10 to a Samsung A51, but it's been so unstable I'm ready to go back to the Huawei world again. And, here in Switzerland, they're selling the P30 for 343 CHF (£291) in the main high street electronics store. It looks amazing... but what about Google services and Google apps ? Are they provided with the P30 ?
Yes it’s ok Google on p 30
For my big sasquatch hands I love the bigger screen sizes but this does look like a sold entry
I really wanna know where you get the wallpaper from...

Just ordered one for 25 quid a month with 100gb of data from 3. Roll on Monday for delivery
Just got one at £23 p/m for 30gb - £50 up front. Did some maths and the phone works out at £240. Chuffed af, great well built wee phone.
I bought the p30 pro for £120 on ebay the other day fully working apart from finger print sensor 👍
Picked one up 2nd hand for £230 absolute bargain for a 1 year old flagship phone. Result!
Where did you get that wallpaper from? the one from the beginning of the video?
'Forgotten phone'?? One of the 2019 bestsellers
ikr idk what hes on about
From the second biggest smartphone brand in the world 😂 bizarre title.
I think he means forgotten phone since most focus this year was on the p30 pro
headphone jack + flat screen = FTW
Just got this in aurora. Cheers Chris. Works out as £240 with my plan which is a total bargain.
I am watching this on my Huawei y5 2019 the cheaper of the cheapest which means that is crap... That s why I love it
Κωνσταντινος Γ iAd that too..now switch to this one..more expensive one..never look back
Am i right in saying there are two types of p30?
1) 6GB
2) 8GB
Which one is best to go for? I'm confused in which one to choose!
@BlocksGabriel gone with the p30 6gb absolutely 100% happy with the phone, still in the learning stages as only had it a week now but i can honestly say its the easiest phone i have ever used!!
@ici my daughter has the iPhone x and I can't get on with it, I have never really been a fan of any apple products to be fair but thanks for the recommendation though😊
I have one, and I love it ❤️
Just got a p30 Pro for 525 quid on a black Friday deal, p30 still definitely worth it tho!
Definitely. Just picked up the P30 for £229, very pleased with it.
Yes purchased and coming from an I phone X . Loving this android .
Screen is crisper than a bag of Walker's
does it have good stability at 1080p videos tho ?
The question is, can one week really be considered long term?
You really wanna wait for a one month review?
Meat Scepter phone’s been out for a while now you know
If you've severed your carotid artery, then yes, a week's definitely considered long term.
The headphone jack is the main selling point for me!
Along with the price and camera of course. I have a one plus but I don't think their prices are considered "flagship killers" anymore.

It's actually Aurora 😉

after 4 years using it, my phone totally dead. even changing mobo still not able to fix it. so im planning to buy a new phone now. so far p30 very good to use. Battery super charge. Gaming COD 3-4 hours max. Camera still can capture moon, zooming, macro and portrait all good. Audio jack, speaker, BLTH, wifi all good. CONS : software/android is pretty amusing and not comfortable (you know google banned huawei right). back cover is easily broke/cracked but mine got cracked last year November (i really taking a good care of it cuz it just a small crack)
your version is called 'aurora' because it indeed resembles the northern skylights not 'breathing crystal'. just saying 😊

will this phone, if bought today, loose google services support eventually?

Good video Chris but the colour of the device you have in the video is not breathing crystal. It's aurora blue
It's £429 on Amazon, I was lucky to get it even cheaper around £300... Probably the best you can buy for that kind of money
Camera is the main reason for change (had an mate 10 pro) it's very good...

Wich compact phone is better overal ? pixel 3a or huawei p30 ??
It's a tough one, stock Android lovers will obviously gravitate towards the Pixel, P30 offers more flexible camera tech with the telephoto/UWA lenses and better gaming performance - but they're both great all-rounders.
