I am using this phone from day one of launch in 2019. Battery changed two years ago. I miss a few of the new features in later Android versions. But the phone itself is still working like a charm. I treated it like a raw egg and still looks brand new.
I have Huawei P10 and I ve use it for about 8 years and my wife still use her without any problem.Last year a bought a new Samsung phone and it was an absolute nightmare. After every update something will go wrong. One of the most important thing I found out... no phone has a battery life better than Huawei.
I have been using this as my main phone since its launch. So far, it has been working well. My partner has already upgraded twice, but I have never experienced any issues with it. Additionally, the free watch is still in good condition. I only wish Huawei would obtain a license to use Google again.
Used P40 Pro, Mate 50 Pro and P60 Pro. They had amazing cameras especially P60 Pro but few days ago shifted to P30 Pro and Man it has been giving me 9 to 10 hours screen on time daily. Even my latest P60 Pro can't beat it in Battery life. Huawei was the best battery optimisation brand with Google but unfortunately after Google Ban and unable to optimise Apps with Play Stores batteries are little less longer.
it's thanks to huaweis kirin cpu the battery and detail is soo mind blowing/ huawei goot banned and have to use snapdragon cpu and snapdragon is worse than kirin made by huawei in tsmc/ and when you seehuawei mate 60 pro come then huawei made the first kirin 9000s in smic since huawei got banned for making in tsmc and the new kirin cpu takes that special photo but in zoom the new kirin isn't special in zoom seen but take the photo in zoom i mean 100x is good/ but huawei will solve all issue over again and it will be even more special
My P30 is 5 years old. When not using phone I almost always put it in battery saving mode, naturally turn off mobile data etc - these way using mobile for everything else normally like bluetooth, watching youtube, listening music and whatever I like I can charge it once every 1.5 day. with some spare using of screen it could get close to 2 days for sure
I have this phone. It's a great phone. Huawei phones last too. Have also owned mate 10 pro and p20 pro. The p30 pro is a brilliant phone I think. Feedback from long term customers is good.
Am using this phone like crazy! Games, torrents downloading, anime downloading, navy navigation, editing photos with cracked apk, hacking games, taking pictures and many many more! This device is in another level!!

Is my daily driver for about 5 yrs and half and is still a beast phone,only thing that it needs to be replace is the battery due to his age,but it serves me verry well those years,i think i will keep it for another 2 or 3. Nice video ! ✌🏽
After 5 years of having this phone I have no problem with the battery, it outlast my iPhone 13 pro. I only charge this phone once a day then it last till the next day even after 5 years of battery degrade
The P30P was waaaay ahead of its time. Also still have mine which I'm using rn and never been let down. I'd say if updates on everything weren't so advanced I'd use it for the rest of my life tbh.
I have s24 ultra & iphone 16 promax but for daily use Still using n November 2024 condition 10/10 outstanding phone for gaming camra battery i love it.
Huawei phones are good still using Huawei Nova 5t. Camera, Battery software optimization even performance. It can still perform with little to no lag at all. Plus this phone still has tha native GMS i think this is the last huawei phone with GMS along side the p30 and p30 pro

Android 10 only, but honestly, nothing wrong with this phone. Good battery life and cameras, perfect connectivity. Performance in heavy games of course is not top notch, still have to mention that the phone does not heat up during even long gaming sessions.
Huawei should reissue this phone for 399 and they would run the table!! I'm still using my Silver New Edition every day and its beaten everything else I've tried, including Samsung, Apple and even one of the recent Honor devices... the P30 rules!!!
I remember that at that time, samsung won at day photos, and huawei at night. I had p20 pro and p30 pro. Now i have both s24ultra and pura 70 ultra, i love my samsung for the convenience (homebanking nfc pay/google pay) but i love some aspects of my huawei camera.
After watching your video, I'm getting one, though its still expensive in my country but I can't complain since I too was a Huawei user (P10 & P20 Pro) before switching to Samsung, I'll get it as a work & camera phone because of your review!

My brother used this phone untill few months ago, when unfortunately he cracked the screen so hard that it is impossible to use. He bought new android phone, i think xiaomi 13t, and he sayd he will fix the screenn and use his old p30pro, because it is the best phone he used, ever. who knows where huawei would be today if there wasnt google ban.
Im thinking to upgrade to a p30 pro/ new edition. My p20 pro still works, but the microfon is slowly dieing. But i might try to use it as long it function and just then upgrade.
Sometimes I regret that I switched from P30 Pro to P50 Pro, I don't think I gained much and I lost a lot. The lack of GMS doesn't bother me much, I mostly use the camera and mail, and I don't think the camera on the P50 is much better.
I don't think so, I tried too, the only way I saw was updating it using the huawei website with a VPN on a pc. But I'm not sure if you can update but then again you will loose google services

Phones from 2019 are still perfectly viable here in 2024 and even beyond in my opinion. It's crazy how for the most part you're still getting basically the same experience as a top end Galaxy device! I recently reviewed the OnePlus 7T and was super pleased with the performance and cameras. Almost makes me want to switch back to my 7T Pro McLaren again 🥲

This video comes to me at the right time, I own a Huawei p30 Pro, I've had it for 4 years and I still like it very well, the strong points in my opinion are: battery life, camera, display, the processor is very fast, now l'm a little worried because since it's very hot, it overheats easily not to explode but slightly hot yes, do you think it's due to the high temperature of the time, or is it because the battery starts to overload the function s. But after using it for a while it starts to heat up, then when I take breaks it cools down, I think it's the summer heat.

I have been on Android for 2 years. Mostly Samsungs (S21, S22 Ultra and S23+), but also Pixel 7, Oppo Find X5, realme 9 Pro+. Android is now much much better than years before. But still iPhone is an iPhone, Apple Watch are the best smart watches and I still had an Macbook even when I was on Android.
Keep the p30 I’ve had an s22 plus with it don’t notice any performance difference. The only reasonable upgrade would be the 23 or 24 ultra which isn’t really required.

If huawei wasnt banned by google. I would prolly already have one. But have you seen those xiaomi phones? I use the redmi note 12 pro and its actually a very good phone. It makes very nice and clean pictures. And texting is very smooth on it. If I had money, I would buy the xiaomi 14 ultra.

Im also use it (since Feb 2022) bought it refurbed, will use until it break or gets useless when important apps dont will support android 10.
I,m still on my p20 pro matched with my gt 4 smartwatch and D 15 PC, everything works seamlessly, I luv Huawei gear.

This phone was ahead of its time when it came out. If not for the absence of 3.5mm jack and a punch hole front cam, this would be perfect.

banking apps are starting to stop support on Huawei phones due to outdated security patch. Good phone tho

I'm on emui 12, I have no problems with the camera at all. Can you describe what problems are you experiencing?
I am on EMUI 12 and the main camera cannot focus on objects, it's blurred. The problem started after a software update
Same problem here. Focus only when I zoom out. When at 1x and higher it blurres. In macro modus it works as well.

Keep it out of the heat. Heat is the main problem for battery degrading. Battery life is still amazing lasting a whole day

You probably dropped your phone alot that could be one of the reasons, second reason can be the ois stabilization if you exposed it to magnets
