Cheers Geek Street. I bought a g920 yesterday to use on my Xbox Series S. Out of the box, no settings changed it was terrible, Followed your settings and now IM getting my lap times near what I can do with a controller. Only setting I adjusted was the End Deadzone on the Brakes, so I didnt have to push the pedal in as far to get the brakes to work at full pressure as I found the brake pedal to be really stiff. Thank you
That’s a good idea! I use my wheel For horizon and hitting the brake pedal was just terrible. But this might solve my Issue I’m gonna try Motorsport for the first time today.
Iv found that turning wheel dampening completely off has fixed my biggest issue with wheel feel. Wheel dampening is the resistance to changes in the wheel, this setting pulls zero data from the cars physics as far as I can tell and just uses the FFB in the wheel to resist your movement at all times. Turning this off instantly gave me more feel for the rear end of my car, I could feel the car over rotating while I turned in. I would suggest people start with this setting if they are finding the wheel to feel very dead or non responsive to the way the car reacts. Additionally the dynamic damper behavior setting feels very over tuned by default, this setting pulls back the force feedback when the front tires start to understeer to simulate the loss of grip you would feel . Cars still have a lot more turn in yet this setting at default makes it feel like the tires are in full understeer. I have also turned this setting completely off. Driving feels closer to other sims I drive (AC and iracing) after tinkering with these

First thing I would do is check if windows detects it, when you have it plugged into the PC type into the windows search bar "set up USB game controllers" it should show your Logitech wheel & any other USB or BT controllers you have connected. Click the wheel and then properties and test all the buttons flash red when pressed. If the wheel is not in the list, that means the PC isn't seeing it at all. Check in "Device manager" to see if any devices have errors if they do uninstall and get new drivers, It could also mean your power brick is broken, that happened to a friend of mine and his wouldn't connect to the PC. Anybody know whats the settings for drift?
I’m on xbox with logitech shifter but it’s not working, only paddles work- is that normal?
The wheel probably needs a firmware update, I had the same issue
My drive hub and my t300 doesn’t have force feedback
I dont know why you are saying that all the g920 is the same as g929 and 23.
hey dude my g920 's wheel is not just working on the game(it was totally ok on forza 5 but it did not work no fh4 aswell) when I move my wheel it does not move expect I turn it fully left, it goes left suddenly, do you know what is the problem
Is it still working properly in Forza 5? If it is, it's probably the deadzone settings. If it doesn't work in Forza 5 anymore, the wheel is probably toast.
But I could be wrong. Anyone...?
When are you going to be done with the playseat video
Should be released next week on Saturday
Still too much input lag 😢 bought the Thrustmaster 300 (something) and it annoyed the heck out of me, specially since I paid €500 for it! Returned it and hoped for Logitech would work better but nope 😅
this might be your tv, not your controller.
@@martinmcdowell61 just watch this clip... I tested my wheel on a 25" 1080p240 and then my oled tv in low latency mode, same issue.
Guys, the game don’t recognize me the g29 lol. No problem in horizon series and other games. All is updated, but the game says is a keyboard lol and dont allow me to go to the advanced wheel settings. Any clue? Thanks (Pc win 10)
Same here :(
Hi were can I get logi tec g29
J’ai une résistance quand mon volant est au milieu et que j’essaye de tourner a gauche ou à droite quelqu’un peut m’aider ?🥲
I only see advanced controller setting not wheel settings
Go further along the options. It's further to the end
Ok thank you
I don’t see the advance wheel setting using the g29
You can scroll further to the right using RB/R1 or other. Took me a second as well
Can you turn in wheel game off ? That looks very annoying
Yes you can
So turn it off then, only sense to have it on is in VR
@@shaneoriordan8988 it was only to show in the video, I don't race in that mode 😅
Ihave problem with my 920 it's not working on win 11😢 any help please
Do you have the software for your wheel installed on your PC?(Logitech G Hub) If you do try to update your wheel firmware in the Logitech G Hub.
@@lamd7473 i did all of that!!
(+ do everything the comment above says)
@@M0VER i see the wheel in the logitech hub but no response at all, so the win detect them but the wheel doesn’t seem to do the full calibration (rotation) it stops before completing the full 360 degrees. And start flashing lights
It's painful to even look at how much the picture lags after the turn of the wheel. What is the input lag? A hell of a lot. Everything happens instantly on PC and monitor. This is so disappointing. I would have thrown the system away if it was running like this.
Is just the camera, the cockpit cam with no wheel is way better.
The G29 is for PlayStation ! The xbox name for the same wheel is G920 . You can't use a PlayStation wheel on xbox .
You can use it for pc though which is supported by the g29
Does it works with g27?
I haven't tested but it should work.
The game doesn't even recognise my G29. It shows all my inputs as keyboard and not even a choice in inputs for my wheel...
Make sure all the the cables are properly connected together with the power cable and ensure you have the Logitech G hub software installed and its shown in there then try
@@GeekStreet yeah all done, like I can use my wheel and pedals but the game itself does not show it in the input section and where you have an actual wheel input section I have just input
@@chippy2986have GHub open while playing worked for me..
same here but I manually added a 3rd input - input dropdown and named it G29. I am able to drive with that wheel and I can also go in the photomode and in the menu as well, but the controls on screen still show keyboard imputs .. I had a hard time checking in which button on the wheel works in photomode. Any fix?
The G29 is for PlayStation ! The xbox name for the same wheel is G920 . You can't use a PlayStation wheel on xbox .
videos good alot of people don't have a pc so ya can just go straight to the console setup, yall still be fine and good to go race... I'm using logitech g920
Just running default settings and steering on normal i find thats the best feal to get started and start racing for I would say any skill level new to forza or a vet of sim racing, I play a good bit of assetto corsa on on my PC/SIM RIG with logitech too
And to jump straight into to foza and have that same feal of response through the wheel is good work from turn 10 other FM titles have been really poor when it comes to physics but this one hits the mark really well
And I can compare it to being on par with assetto corsa
With the logitech g920, Forza default wheel settings and steering in normal
That's fine its just and additional thing to check but you can skip that step and go straight to the settings in the game
@@GeekStreet much better thank you dude

@@GeekStreet my channel is shiftclub gaming proff of my settings working in Forza Motorsport :) enjoy
Wow... massive virtual wheel lag! That does not work at all...
Agreed. Looks awful and really distracting. Is that really what the game is like or is this TV not in Game Mode?
There's a second camera view in car that is exactly the same but without the Virtual wheel. It's for wheel users.
So when you out simulation on your telling me that that's how cars behave when it just decides to go from one side to the other. Next thing you know ur spinning around d in circles
Worst settings ever bro my wheel will not stop shaking everything
Light and floaty??? It’s everything but that trust me.
bestb settings
❤️
Holy damn the poor g920 is gonna have its life expectancy greatly reduced. Too heavy imo
I usually set mine to 80%.
Hi. Im on a pc. Is it possible to play with the g29? Thanks.
Yes, Check this out ruclips.net/video/avEiQ8BjUbU/видео.html
Дякую!!!
My g923 ain’t even working on Xbox??
Try doing a firmware update.
Mate these settings are shocking. Do you even drive a real car.
I dont know if I am just way to use on how FFB feels on F1 games but I dont relly feel any FFB with this game. It ruins the experience.
way too heavy
Do you even lift bro?
@@User38679 There's a large difference between heavy weights and heavy steering, bro
@@JahSkating just kidding man👍
