I find it hilarious that the TV version of the Ape Zord looks more like a giant robot samurai, when the 1995 movie counterpart actually looks like a giant metal ape. (And yes, I know humans are also apes, before anyone says it)
They fuck up the transformation, you need to be like very carefully with them when transfom it, that and the fact they are more plástic make it more easy to put more articulation that the big versions with daicast and more expesive
Minipla is the new way to milk money from Bandai and they're smart enough to make veteran collectors buy it since minipla can be posed. But it's also a chance for new generation to build their own collection since old DX Japan are very expensive now. The main problem is minipla's simple joints - they're great for posing, but if you transform or pose them too many times, they will become loose and can't be fixed. Deluxe is for transformation, their joints are very firm and durable (except Hurricanger) - my secondhand Daizyujin (aka MMPR Megazord) DX version is produced in 1992 (Thailand) but its joints still work fairly well.
I will say that the TV version of the Ninja Megazord looks better than its 95 movie counterpart, but why would they call the Ape Zord an ape? Unless it likens to the fact that humans are part of the order of apes, it looks like a giant robot samurai to me.
Esteban Romano I would love an explanation for your point since I don't see much wrong with the build quality. It seems like an amazing creation. If the price is in the hundreds or something like that I could see why there is more to be desired.
@@silverwheelchairiot6525 I may not be a fan of the derpy stickers that go on the eyes, but I agree with your assessment. I think the only detraction for this set would be the price tag, if it's high.

How on earth are these small toys so poseable when their larger counterparts aren't? It truly boggles the mind, it does.

please do Brave Bragigas Ptera King
