In reality he over hit that and passed it out wide when he could have played a chipped through ball to the blond guy who would be in on goal, regardless that defence has no idea what it is doing ay all are are dreadfull. Intact it may have been better to pass it around the last defender his side to the blond guy. Also you can see the mid field lagging behind the attack the cm cm should be looking at sitting on the edge of the box as the that guy moves down the wing after receiving the ball here you can see him just walking on up. If they were being pressed they wouldn't score from that at all from lack of options. In reality they should and could have push 4 players to the box and would have 100 percent scored. Also it was a bad first touch if you want tk be real critical in fact the attacking shape is verry flat with the defencive line with 5 players all sat in line with the defence, the left back should be further up the pitch yet there is a huge amount of space to his right hand side with no options if he was being pressed he would be driven into the space quickly and the ball would move back into their own half attack fizzles out. Also their wingers are are to stretched allowing for ample space for a counter attack and also you can see that the person he passed it to had to drive towards the defender to collect the ball closing down space and that's because he is sitting to wide on the right hand side and didn't shift over before hand. Again sit should have been intercepted by the defence but they are clearly not all up to the task here. A little dink over the top to the blond guy and a quick drive down the flank to receive the ball after to provide options Imo would have been the better option. Again though the other winger is two wide. People saying it's a great pass are clearly not watching the video properly. It's a bad decision in reality he wants his left back close by to create a nice triangle to pass the ball around as another attacking option but the attacking teams defence is sitting way to deep in their own half. Just look how much space is in the midfield area its screaming counter attack.
If the gk is running at you and trying to slide to get to the ball either chip it in or pass it if the gk is not near the net and coming at you if he slides for the ball then chip it cause he’s very far from the net so try chipping or pass it it would make a wide net if you passed it
