Thank you very much for this video. I have to create a 7-stage accordion interaction and this helped me do it. I appreciate all your videos, they help me a lot.
Hi Mark, Thank you for this tutorial. I did try follow the instructions as I am trying to create a horizontal accordian. I feel there some instructions missing about hiding and showing the base layer and what happens a layer is visible and user clicks on another layer? how does one continue from that current position?
Hi Mark! First, thank you for this tutorial, but I agree that there are some steps missing. In particular, I would like to see the triggers you put on the layers, because I tried to build this interaction but that's something that is not working. Could you provide the .story file, please? It would be a great help!
@@markspermon-articulatestor6280 Thanks for this tutorial - I think beginners (like me) might find the editing of duplicate layers confusing e.g. how shape positions change in the closing layers. I've managed to create something that would work for now. Thanks again for these amazing tutorials!
How in the world, in 2023 does Articulate NOT have a native accordion function? Articulate Storyline is archaic, it crashes daily and is, literally, the worst software I've ever worked with. I can't wait for someone, anyone, do create a modern LMS system and I'll watch with joy at Articulate goes out of business with everyone leaving in droves. I don't know a single developer who likes Articulate. Literally, not a single developer. The company I work with can't even find someone who will work in Storyline because it's a software where careers go to die. That being said, it's not this Creators problem and I appreciate this video... I'm just watching, dumbfounded that I had to google Accordion because Storyline doesn't have a this functionality. The worst software on the market today.

This is the exact issue I am facing and exploring -- We need to move the currently open icon back into place when another icon is clicked.

Very nice, but how would you go about it when the timer reaches 0:00?
Currently it just keeps counting.
Hi Mark - I want to close the browser for a course published to the web for iOS and Android. Seems like it should be simple but I can’t figure it out.
Thanks very much for this but there is some missing steps that makes it a bit difficult to follow. Great idea though. Thanks
Hi Bashar which steps do you miss?

Hi Mark. Are you able to share your .story file?
Do you have any tips on how to make it so the user has to click each piece before the slide progresses to the next?
You can add a t/f variable for this and require each one to be turned to T before they can click next

This - the amount of bugs I run into with storyline is insane.
