Great job getting the rhythm parts exactly like the record. That's a lot of work! A lot of people haven't discovered these records yet, but this will be really valuable to learn the song the right way.
I knew that’s if this song will be covered that it has to be you. This has maybe 3-6 guitar parts on this one. Amazing song and amazing playing. Enjoyed every second of it.
How do you like the Moises platform ? Pros, cons… ? Certain types of music/mixes it does better than other one ? Thanks for your insights - and the fantastic playing :-)
It works Just like that. If the song has only guitar , bass ,drums and vocals it works really well. But if there's a synth and you want to mute it, it mutes guitar part too.
@@JuhaAitakangas Hi Juha, always a good day when i see a new video from you bro:) 😎👍 yeps love how those 2 clean rhythm parts weave around each other and that Luke solo oh wow full of taste while still serving the song.
@@JuhaAitakangas You are most welcome. Thank you for putting so much time and effort into making a quality video and for getting those tones. I particularly like the tone of your Les Paul. What amp and pedals are you using for the solo? I live my Les Paul but my PRS nails all of those tones. However, playing a PRS is not as good an experience as playing a Les Paul imo. My LP is 30yo now and it sounds great.
@@JuhaAitakangas omg you look so young and yes I do believe that decade includes you. You were around 10 years old and getting that burn in you at the right time.. you should be in magazines, traveling the world etc but you more of a hero than lukather huff and landaul because of what you do. I'm nine years older so you are appreciated more than you probably realize
@@leehacker6001 Yes, you are right. My musical taste was defined on those years. @@JuhaAitakangas ruclips.net/video/i7ZlmDZ13xo/видео.html I'm sending you a few videos of my hero growing up. Now he was about 10 years older than me so he was no more than an idol to me that left me wanting to be like him. For some reason you remind me of him. Now I was a kid and he was our preachers son, pentecostal at that lol. He left Newbern nc at the age of 18 and played with the hinsons which is probably the most popular gospel band in early 80s. He left them at some point and time and played with amways house band which was a big contemporary group or maybe secular. They were called the goeds not sure of spelling. Anyway at some point in the the 80s he went to Nashville and started playing with TG Shepard in contemporary gospel. He also had opportunity to play with Michael w Smith but turn it down. I remember when he was 19 or 20 he came home for Christmas and played Rosanna by toto through a rockman headset with echo and chorus and blowed my mind. That's when I knew he was really special. I've never been the same . He put a burn in me and now that someone like you that comes along the fire has been renewed. You see he just became a hired musician that has to make a living doing it but is no help to those that wasn't quite as gifted. They leave town and like a bird they fly away and hard to keep up with. Here's a few videos just to share with you that show what path most people like you take. But most of us with the fire who are mabe not as gifted are more inspired by your footsteps if that make sense
You honor Steve Lukather with your playing.
Thank you so very much 😃👍🎸
Eddie and Steve shaped 80's guitar, no doubt.
That's so true 💯💯
That was Lukather?!?! 40 years and no idea that was him. But it totally makes sense, he was the ultimate hired gun.
Yes indeed, Luke is playing the solo 👉💯
The personnel on this track largely parallel the personnel on Africa/Toto 4

awesome!!!! what settings/pedals would you recommend for replicating this sound live?
I could go with with Fender type amp and strat. Some heavy compressor, reverb and maybe little bit of chorus....for clean sound i mean 👍
