1. About the yellow chrysanthemum plant
Chrysanthemum is also known in English as Chrysanthemum. The chrysanthemum plant is derived from a wildflower of the Chrysanthemum type native to China and Japan. After the crossbreeding process, we get the shape of today's yellow chrysanthemum. Chrysanthemum flowers were introduced to Vietnam from around the 15th century, Vietnamese people consider chrysanthemum flowers to be a sign of nobility and is classified in the four quarters of "Tung, Cuc, Truc, Mai" or "Mai, Lan, Cuc" , Truc".
Yellow chrysanthemums have a strong vitality, so they are widely distributed around the world, mainly in Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, China, Japan, Vietnam,... In Vietnam, yellow chrysanthemums are grown all year round.
Yellow chrysanthemum is a small herbaceous flowering plant, the stem has many brittle and easily broken segments. The tree usually grows upright or crawling, the stem has a white latex-secreting tube. The leaves are alternate, the leaf plates are lobed with feathers. The leaves are dark green, the underside of the leaves has a thin hairy layer.
2. Characteristics of yellow chrysanthemums
Yellow chrysanthemums usually grow on the top of the stem. Flowers are unisexual or bisexual. Unisexual flowers in flowers usually have only male stamens or female pistils. Bisexual flowers usually have both stamens and pistils on one flower. Based on the arrangement of petals on the flower, you can divide it into double flowers (many wreaths arranged on the flower) and single flowers (only 1 wreath arranged on the flower).
An often branched flower stalk produces many flowers and has the characteristic vibrant yellow color of chrysanthemums. Flowers have a diameter of 3-7cm depending on the type. The fruit of the chrysanthemum plant is small, contains a single seed, has an embryo and no endosperm.
3. The effect of yellow chrysanthemum in medicine
Besides decoration, yellow chrysanthemum is also considered one of the good medicinal herbs. In the yellow chrysanthemum flower, there are antioxidants and chrysanthemum essential oil has been studied to have anti-irritant, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effects, helping to relieve coughs, congestion,... In addition, yellow chrysanthemum flower It also helps you have smooth and bright skin, reducing inflammation from acne.
Yellow chrysanthemum is also used to make tea, yellow chrysanthemum tea has the effect of helping to refresh the spirit, reduce fatigue and stress. Besides, chamomile tea also helps you have a deeper, more refreshing sleep and reduce body heat.
4. How to plant and care for yellow chrysanthemums
Techniques for growing yellow chrysanthemums
To grow yellow chrysanthemums, you can grow them by cuttings or by seeding.
5. Method of cuttings
Cuttings are considered a good method because the seedlings will inherit the dominant characteristics of the mother plant. To prepare cuttings, you need to prepare:
Soil: The soil should be loose, humus-rich and well-drained. Before cuttings, you should kill fungi and bacteria so as not to affect the seedlings.
Time of cuttings: Although yellow chrysanthemums can be cut all year round, but you should take cuttings in spring because spring weather is warm and humid, the plant does not lose water.
Choose branches for cuttings: You should choose branches that are strong, healthy and free from pests and diseases. You should also not choose branches that are too young, or too old because the tree will not have enough nutrients to feed the seedlings. From there, the seedlings will grow slower and flower smaller.
Making cuttings: You need to cut the bevel about 30 degrees to increase the contact area of the branch that is about to be cut. Then, you dip the cut side in the solution to help stimulate root growth. Next, you take the cuttings in a sheltered place and water them regularly. Roots will appear in about 2-4 weeks.

Мне соседка дала в прошлом году,маленький саженец.За лето вырос шикарный большой куст и много вокруг отростков.я их не трогала,укрыла лапником на зиму.Очень отзывчив на удобрения,в жару проливала каждый день.Цветов больше чем листьев,красота необыкновенная.Вот ищу место для отростков.(Лен.обл.)
