I couldn’t live without you, Chef AJ. You are the best and no one is more inspirational. Plus, your glamour is contagious. I love how kind you are to everyone too. Congratulations on your 600th episode! Enjoy the hoopla and here’s to 600 more…
Congratulations on your 600th episode, Chef AJ. Also, I'm so happy you had Dr. Greger on again. I really enjoy him for his expertise, his straightforwardness, and his wonderful sense of humor.
Congrats on 600, Chef AJ! I wasn't able to watch live this time, but just finished checking it out now. You probably remember me, I'm usually interacting and giving tips in the chat and usually ask if the guest can do a talk to my pre med colleagues, lol. Anyway, great episode! Dr. Greger is great as usual! Can't wait for his next book, "How not to age"! He's one of my role models as a future lifestyle med doc myself! Also, I know you're really booked with lots of amazing guests, including WFPB lifestyle med docs like Greger, Fuhrman, Barnard, etc., but if you ever want to have me on your show and chat, and get the perspective of a student/future doc, I could share some of what I've been working on/involved in and some of my goals to spread the word to the community, as well as getting my colleagues on board to also become WFPB lifestyle med docs in the future! I'm currently a health coach for Plant Powered Metro NY (PPMNY- you had Lianna on recently, great episode!), nutritional biochemistry/nutrigenomics/epigenetics researcher, and I also teach nutrition/holistic health to patients at my local clinic, as well as to elementary, middle, high school students in after school programs. I also have a slide show presentation entitled "Food as medicine" which I can present, and/or we can just have a conversation and Q and A, etc. Either way, I'd be honored to be on your show! Please let me know if this is something you'd like to do, I figured it'd be something unique since most of your guests are docs and not med students or pre meds, it'll also give hope to the audience for the future of medicine! Let me know what's the best way to email you as well. Thank you and keep up the good work!
Loved, loved!!! Congratulations Chef AJ on 600 episodes!! You are a blessing to countless individuals. Enjoyed this replay so much; missed the live due to family matters, but always thankful for the replays. Wishing love, peace, & good plant health to all!!
Dr. G. is Is one of my favorite integrative doctors. I love the fact that he is on his treadmill when he is giving interviews. When you stop moving, you start dying.
Congrats on 600 shows! I love the sparkles!! Your shows have helped me to sometimes veer in the direction of all these good foods over things I maybe shouldn't have. Progress not perfection. I ♥ you!
So cool that he's walking during the interview. Greger rocks, I'm just reading How Not To Die right now. Thanks for all your great videos Chef AJ, you rock too.....😉 Tiina 😊❤🇨🇦
Personally calcium scoring saved my life as well as my husband. My father died of a missive heart attach when he was 49 and I was a child. I have had CCS done twice. The last time they found my calcium score was a bit higher than last time than previous but they discovered I had a lung cancer. I’m fine now. Lung surgery as well as going plant based makes feel feel good about the future. My husband decided to have his CCS done y discovered a significant Aorta aneurysm. But yes he doesn’t have any significant calcium. He too now is plant based and we are waiting to see if he needs surgery
I've heard however (from several medical sources), that using cast iron led to too much iron in the blood and the patients had to switch to another cooking ware.
Dr Greger always gets the best questions when he's on your show :) definitely not a coincidence, with all the information you help to get out there :D thank you so much for everything you do, and of course to Dr Greger as well
Thank you for putting the food addiction questions n here! I’m still weighing & measuring and counting ‘kcal’ out of food addiction fear of gaining weight. This really helpful😀
I asked Frontier foods and their nutritional yeast is fortified, which is why I don't buy it because it has folic acid in it which is not a good choice because it has been linked with cancer. Natural folate is what we need through foods, not supplements.
When you have a viral infection of any kind, take special care as seeds and nuts contain high levels of the amino acid arginine. Unfortunately, they don't contain much lysine, the amino acid that's been shown to help fight herpes and other viral infections.
Love you guys! Yes, going WFPB eventually changes taste buds and helps one lose weight and improve relationship with food….I am living proof. But this doesn’t necessarily solve deep seated addictions and emotional eating compulsion. There’s a diff between physical and compulsive/emotional/addictive hunger….yes, I can see how high volume eating of a healthy food could trigger someone who has these kinds of issues. I myself need to be extra mindful of this….going WFPB is 1 part of the equation for some of us….beyond that, there are other psychological issues with relationship to eating /food/hunger/fullness that one must address separately. Nobody needs to eat animal foods to heal food addiction… but it’s clear that there are some who will never believe in a vegan diet. Some are simply too addicted to meat and dairy to give it up. The media and so many “fitness gurus” have everyone brainwashed.
The worst arginine-rich foods if you have herpes include peanuts, chocolate and carob, wheat and wheat germ, oats, soy foods, some types of nuts, peanuts, and sesame seeds, according to Dr. Deborah Gordon, an integrative medicine practitioner.
I think a special little bundle of almonds in the mail every week would contribute to personal happiness along with improved health with less stroke risk.
As health conscious as Dr. Greger, is and as much as he promotes plant based nutrition and healing, I am absolutely and extremely surprised that he advocates the current covid shots as being the answer for the pandemic. Especially considering their experimental nature, being only one year old; their unknown long term side effects and the many current adverse side effects that are devastating the lives of thousands, including blood clots, heart problems and death.
Oh. Chef AJ. You look beautiful!!!!!!!! Congratulations from the bottom of my heart. You have well earned accolades.
You two are legends and continue to be an inspiration for myself, family & my channel, keep them coming Chef AJ!

This top looks great on you. Dr. Gregor does not like sitting around. 😄 He is a nice person and I learned a lot from him.
I watched this video while I was walking on my treadmill. 👍😁

He said "before getting back to your tea habit" 😂 the shade lol
I wonder if in that Algae study, if the participants were already taking Flax everyday? And yet the algae still improved their cognition?
Congrats on the 600th episode. I’m Sorry I just found you, but at least I found you 😁
What brand balsamic vinegar does Dr. Gregor use? :)

My sister introduced me to your RUclips channel last year. Loving it! So much variety and information. Also, you look lovely and happy. 😁
Thank you!
You can’t get rid of old plaque? I thought a whole food plant based diet could clean that out?
I was sitting while watching this and realized I should get up and walk too. 😂
My wellness Doctor wants me to walk more also!
Chef AJ you look absolutely dazzling
In sparkles and should always expose your beautiful shoulders as you could easily be a shoulder model.
