As much as I laughed in this video, I grieve with you sheikh. I didn’t think it was possible to smile and grief in one video. We miss our beloved sheikh Mohammed. My Allah give him the highest level of Janah. I have never listened to a single lecture of yours and this intro to you, yourself is a blessing for me. In all the lectures I listened to, I have never heard anyone bring attention to our own mortality. I lost both of my parents. I have a best friend who’s suicidal. This lecture is so close to home. I have heard every single word you said. I thank you for what you did for me today. May Allah bless you and your family.

I am a psychiatrist. He is 100% correct on men talking about mental health problems. Massive stigma in Muslim communities. So Muslim men with severe mental illnesses are discouraged from talking about this. Mental illness is simply not taken seriously, and dismissed as weakness of Iman, due to Jinn or both. We need education, education, education.

Learn to give to others less fortunate than us and may our hearts soften. Forgive those who have wronged us for it will bring tranquility in our hearts. Ameen.

Assalamu alaykom wa rahma'tullah wa barakatuh, subhan Allah, thank you for sharing, it really really helps and makes an incredible change around in my mind, of how I think and see things. Jazaka Allahu khayran wa barak Allahu feeke. I'm very sorry, once again for really putting a burden upon you, we all have Allah don't we? He never stops listening. Subhan Allah, I have also had the pain and compassion need to be smiles and gentle with children who were orphaned, Alhamdulillah, and for the widow too. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. And getting back to Muhammad Alshareef [rahimatullah, the grief is real, no doubt, that is from Allah isn't it? For his service to Islam, who enabled the miskeen llike me to learn, and you have facilitated an awful lot of that for me, which means when I have gone through incredible trials, I have by the mercy of Allah, and the ilm I have been blessed with, been able to not take it as deeply as I did before islam. We can often see people bite their nails when nervous. Others may bite on a finger out of regret.
However, can you imagine biting a whole hand? or even worse... both hands?!
    وَيَوْمَ يَعَضُّ الظَّالِمُ عَلَىٰ يَدَيْهِ يَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي اتَّخَذْتُ مَعَ الرَّسُولِ سَبِيلًا
“And on that Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands [in regret], and say, ‘If only I had taken the same path as the Messenger.”
    (Qur’an 25:27)
An indication of the severity of the overwhelming and incapacitating regret that the sinners will feel on the day of Judgement.
Obeying Allaah The Almighty in general and doing great deal of good deeds fill the face with light, brightness and joy that every obedient person to Allaah The Almighty, sees.
‘Abdullaah ibn ‘Abbaas said: “Good deeds give brightness to the face, light to the heart, abundance to provision, strength to the body, and affection in people's hearts. Bad deeds bring blackness to the face, darkness to the grave and the heart, weakness to the body, lack of provision and hatred in people’s hearts.”

Wa alaikum assalaam wr. Shaykh Hamza yusuf explanation in this matter should be sufficient. Generally, arrogance is a guarantee to hellfire and is heavily criticized in the quraan. Ego is not necessarily the same level. Allaah knows best. Don’t confuse confidence in one’s faith being correct with pride or arrogance.

    Quran 22:40
[They are] those who have been evicted from their homes without right - only because they say, " Our Lord is God " And were it not that God checks the people, some by means of others, there would have been demolished monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques in which the name of God is much mentioned. And God will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, God is Powerful and Exalted in Might.

Question: How Can Muslim And the Non-Muslim "submit" to the God?
Answer: Be kind to other human beings and Do not lie, Do not steal, Do not cheat, Do not hurt others, Do not be prideful and Do the charity work.
Note: If you obeyed all the ABOVE Allah-God's moral laws "YOU" submitted to God.( ie Islam mean "submission" to God )
The only people who will enter Paradise those who '' Submitted to God '' ( ie by Good Deeds )

    Quran 5:5
''This day [all] good foods have been made lawful, and the food of those who were given the Scripture (ie Christian and Jew) is lawful for you and your food is lawful for them. And lawful in marriage are chaste women from among the believers (ie Muslim ) and chaste women from among those who were given the Scripture (ie Christian and Jew) before you, when you have given them their due compensation, desiring chastity not unlawful sexual intercourse or taking [secret] lovers. And whoever denies the faith - his work has become worthless and he in the Hereafter will be among the losers.''
Note: > Only < Islam allows interfaith marriages (>14 hundredsSame God< but They are >ALL Corrupt< more or less, some more than others from their original foundational teaching. The older religion are MORE corrupted than newer religion.

And God / Allah does not answer non Muslim / non Christian pray?
Did Allah '' Canceled '' all other religions Judaism and Christianity?
    Quran 5:48
'' And We have revealed to you [O Muhammad] the Book in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture ( ie New and old Testament ) and as a criterion over it. So judge between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations away from what has come to you of the truth. >>>TO EACH OF YOU WE PRESCRIBED A LAW AND A METHODone nation>differ qualified < for to enter Paradise )

Oh Dear ! Still managed to make it more about himself then Mohammed Shaikh , may Allah subhana wata Ala grant him jaanatul firdous.
Allah subhana wata Ala covered this guy's sins, sadly he exposes them under whatever pretence.
This guy should speak to his friends or a psychiatrist, not buying the caveat given at the beginning of the video, as to why he is making this video.
Had to stop watching after just over half way, when realised this video would be more about Abu eesa and his undermining of traditional ulema, then about Shaikh Mohammad Rahmatullah alayhe.
