TIP for the OWEN: if there is still ages of dirt on it you can clean it easily! Just spray a generous amount of owen cleaner on it, and wrap the whole area up cover it with clingfilm /saran wrap. It keeps the owen cleaner wet, does not dry up and it can do its magic! Close the door leave it on for 3 hours, if its really bad you can leave it overnight. When you remove the wrapping every stain will melt off! And its like new! You can do this with baking trays as well!

Congratulations on the house move and the anniversary! Stunning house. Regarding the floors, check what you have underneath the current flooring. You might find the original wooden floor which might only need some restoring rather than replacing with a new wooden floor.

What a beautiful home! And that garden!!!wow! One thing i am very surprised about is the fact that you dont have much closet space!!. Is that typical for Europe? Here in the US some walk-in closets are the size of a small room, and there are always closets built in that are the length of the room.
Most homes don't have a walk in closet because the rooms here are very small usually. We're planning to convert one of the rooms into a walk in closet in the future :)

Moving is A LOT! My husband and I moved 3 times in the first 4 years of our marriage. 🤪 We also encountered many situations where we had deep cleaned our house, and the one we moved into was filthy. That delays your unpacking somewhat.🙄

Beautiful house. Few years ago I bought a house that needed even more work. To be honest I regret taking such a huge project it took years to finish, I felt that these few years I worked for the building. Great investment, great house but these few years were horrible. Builders not doing things properly, late with everything, once doing one thing breaking something else. Everything cost x3 then you think. But good luck 🤞

I just ordered a fridge that ended up to be about a half inch too tall. I had the cabinet man come in and remove the upper cabinet and shorten it. It took no time at all and was not expensive. Well worth it!
Thanks for the suggestion. We would do it but the space for the fridge requires an american fridge/freezer and we currently have a single one so we'll have to buy sooner or later.
@@MonCioch I understand...it's never easy, right? LOL. By the way, I have found that the Skubbs drawer organizers work well especially for lingerie, panties, etc. They help tame

So sorry you had to scrub down your new home. When I sold my home, I cleaned everything immaculately, left manuals for appliances, house paint colors, list of plants and care in yard etc. I wanted the new home buyers to feel welcome and more prepared.

Well at the moment it’s 8 😊 I just sleep once I fall asleep but when I can’t fall asleep sleep stories from the CALM app help. Especially ‘neighbour’
