    Thank you so much for that description of how a ball drilled pin up will work differently compared to a ball drilled pin down! Even almost 10 years later Randy Pedersen is still a legend! BTW I’m just about to get a MOTIV Black Venom drilled today!

    In this game Mallot and Barret were victims of No. 10 not falling down just when they needed it most that's why the results was 204 vs. 205 for Mallot. Another proof the actions of the pins control the destiny of the game.

  • @deocyasol9406
    @deocyasol9406 2 месяца назад

    Tp emphasized my point that the "actions" of the pins control the destiny of the games I even witness live a pin after being knock down, it stood up! Or the pin no. 10 remained standing, because it was not hard enough. But the next frame, it happened again but a pin hit it strong enough to knock it down.

    How many people do you actually think started off bowling two-handed? My little brother couldn't hold the ball, so he used two hands. But I'm pretty sure that most are just switching over from one hand to two hands and I don't really like that.

    • @shutendojigaming4009
      @shutendojigaming4009 6 лет назад

      Most people have a story, I started one handed with my own ball and no hook, while bowling I ripped all the skin off my thumb because the ball wasn't drilled correctly, so I swapped to two handed so that I could actually finish bowling, after seeing all the revs I gained I stayed with it, my average tanked about 30 pins till I learned how to throw it more consistently, now I'm around a 190 average (league shot, not sport shot xD) there are days I wish I could actually bowl one handed because I have too many revs now, but I am not coordinated enough to switch back and is have to drop from my 16 to like a 12 xD

    I love bowling but only start playing it more seriously recently. I wouldn't say I'm that great I use to play 8 or 9 times a year and average about a 125 but now that I purchased my own ball and shoes I've been playing weekly for the last month and I'm averaging 165, mainly off spares usually only get 2 strikes. I only have a Brunswick Rhino 11lb ball so its more a spare ball than anything but I'm looking at getting a 14lb Storm Agent ball I've been watching these championship tournaments to try improve my game

    These champions never learned. Just because they did not get the desired results they changed their games right away. Don't they realized by now it is still the "actions" of the pins that matter? Sometimes the no. 1 pin remained standing then some pin(s) from the back will knock it down. Or they hit the "sweet spot" or whatever the call it, it resulted in a split? Just be consistent in the approach and they will have a consistent game results.

      Hook potential is based on a scale of 1-10 10 being the highest. They don't show spare balls. And also, professionals mainly use 15 pound balls. A few still use 16 but other than that, as far as men's bowling goes, that's about it for weight.

      ***** It's just the standard with the players. None of them actually feel sorry about it. It's the same with a tennis player having a shot clip the net and fell in for a winning point. They apologize for those, too. It's just people trying to uphold good sportsmanship.

    • @SirJoelsuf1
      @SirJoelsuf1 10 лет назад +3

      Cuz a really good player knows that bad shots should not win titles. At tournaments I don't apologize or anything when I get a brooklyn, but I'll be clearly disgusted by it for two reasons: 1) it means I threw a bad shot and its not fair to those who make good shots and leave corners, 2) it means I might be looking at a Big Four or something like it soon.
      It's like bragging if you are able to Fool's mate everyone in chess. Bragging about taking advantage is a pretty tool move.

    • @UNiTFk
      @UNiTFk 10 лет назад +1

      the 1-3 spot for right hand and 1-2 for left are only the best and easier way to strike... but is not like you always have to hit there to get a strike... isnt a rule at all... which means there is not bad shots only good brakes...

      your opinion. score card its a strike. a strike is when all 10 pins go down on the first try of a frame. no different then picking up a 7-10 split.
      just the problem is that the strike could have gone another way. just like if you hit the pocket exactly how you wanted to and most of the time it ends up a strike but this time it does not. then its not a strike.

    if these pro bowlers are so good then why don't they use only one bowling ball for every shot instead of six? I think having that many balls makes you look bad.

      The amount of balls is to adjust to different patterns and break down of oil. All these balls have different reactions.

      On one hand I agree with you I think they should have to choose which 2 balls they will use before the match starts and then have to alter their shots to handle lane breakdown. but I can also appreciate that knowing which ball to use and being able to switch balls and adapt your shot accordingly is a big part of what makes these players so damn good!

    1:24:48 randy perterson says he hit the pocket every shot. haha. he got the 2-8 to fall should have been 2-8-10 in the 2nd. and in the 4th he rolled a 2 pin. Yea that's for sure hitting the pocket. what a joke. Malott should have won! and in the 8th again he should have left 2-8-10 i guess that was in the pocket also.

      he would have split more but with his power it causes alot of pin action which causes splits to be less common or can cause them to be tripped up, its a combination of luck and his style, mallot could have won but he threw a very poor shot in the 10th and thats what made him lose

      because even though he has a unique shot. He does not seem to be my type of bowler to follow the only reason i dislike him is because he is not on tv as of recent and there are so many better bowlers
